Eastern Woodlands

FoodIn the Eastern Woodlands they hunt. They hunt animals such as deer, large moose, small beaver, turkeys, and rabbits. They also farmed in the Eastern Woodlands and they planted lots of crops! They planted lots of the trees, and lots of food we have today too. They hunted with arrows and traps to catch the animals and also the used dogs for tracking the animals too! They also cooked their food over a fire with pots to cook and warm up.
Food!!!!
They have cold winters
They have hot summers
Its also rainy (rain helps the trees grow in the woodlands and the streams and the rivers get bigger)

ClothingThe woodland people
wore clothes made out of deer skin and other animals. When it was hot the men and woman wore breechcloths, wrap skirts, and shirts. When it got cold they added leggings and moccasins

Shelter The Woodland people
lived in longhouses. The frame was built from small trees called saplings and covered with bark. Sometimes they were covered with mats that had been woven from cattails. They could only have one family per house and they did ‘nt move a lot.
