Discover and prepare...* Access to a DSLR with a standard 18-55mm lens is recommended,although you will have access to these at college and will be able toborrow them for home loans.* Memory stick (16Gb or larger)* SD Card and reader (Class 10, 32Gb or larger)*Video / photo editing software on your home computers or laptops at least your smart phones is also advised
Welcome to Filmmaking and Photography Level 3 The course you are joining is all about discovery. Discover how filmmaking and photography work and how you can play a part in this exciting creative industry. Discover the importance of light, of sound, of composition, of editing, of creative problem solving and discover how to tell stories for print and screen. Most importantly the course is about discovering and developing your own creative voice. We are really looking forward to meeting you and working together on the next stage of your educational journey.The teaching team is made up of a collection of experienced teachers, professional film and video editors and freelance photographers, as well as media theorists and writers. So whether you want to get hands on and make something, or whether you prefer to find out more about how film and photography is made to work for audiences today, this is the course to join!
