SEMESTER ONE REPORTS Semester One Reports will be sent home with your child (in a sealed envelope) on Monday 1 July 2019 . Parents can contact their child’s teacher at any time during the year to discuss or

make an appointment for an interview to discuss their child’s progress (and report). If

teachers would like to discuss any concerns they have about your child’s progress

they will contact you to make an interview time.

Our Boys will look forward to playing the Griffith Final of the Paul Kelly against St. Patrick’s Primary School under lights at 5:30pm on Wednesday 19 of June at the Exies’ Sportsground. It will be a terrific game to watch! Go, EAGLES!

RIVERINA AUSSIE RULES

TEAM

Congratulations to both Thomas Jamieson and Bede

Kenny for their selection in the Riverina Aussie Rules

team. The boys played in Penshurst, Sydney at the

NSW Carnival in May and had a wonderful experience,

mixing it with the very best under 12 Aussie Rules

players in NSW. The Riverina team finished a very

respectable 5th overall in what was a terrific carnival.

The boys can be seen playing their last match of the

carnival on the following link:

Watch from 1:59:00). They both do some great things

in this footage. Way to go, boys! We hope you loved

the experience.

JUNE P & C MEETING

The June meeting of the GEPS P & C (Parents & Citizens Association) will be held tomorrow night, Thursday 6 June at 7.00 pm in the school staffroom. All parents are welcome to attend

ATTENDANCE - THE IMPORTANCE OF

ARRIVING ON TIME Arriving at school and class on time ensures that:

Students do not miss out on important learning activities scheduled early in the day.

Students learn the importance of punctuality and routine.

Students have time to greet their friends before class.

Classroom disruptions are reduced. Lateness is recorded as a partial absence and must be explained by parents when a child is signed in at the office when arriving at school. It is a legal requirement that children be signed in by an adult if they are late.
