Attention is invited to Railway Board letter 'under ref (2), wherein approval ofRailway Board was communicated for permitting movement of all type of Ores,Minerals, coal and coke in Import Containers only, which are transported purelyunder Customs bond and seat In partial relaxation to the stipulation at Para 5.1 ofletter under reference (1).

This permission was initially given for a period of 6 months ending04.03.2014. The permission is now further extended for a period of 6 months toholistically review the effect of the permission given.

A monthly report shall be continued to be submitted by Divisions to Zonalhead quarter on details of containers loaded with these commodities and effect onthe traffic of these commodities moved on IR wagons.

This issues with the approval of Traffic Commercial and Finance Directorateof Railway Board.

Sub: Chargeable distance for the Private siding of MIs. Jindal Steel and PowerLimited (JSPK), Kerejanga. .

Ref: CCM/ECoR's Commercial Circular No.07(G) 1201-4 dtd. 29.01.2014.

Consequent upon commissioning of Wagon' Tippler NO.2with Line No.2 & 3 in R& 0 yard and Line NO.1& 2 in the Post - Tippling yard of the private siding of MIs. JindalSteel and Power Limited (Alpha Code: JSPK, Numerical Code: 12221474) over SBPDivision., the chargeable distance for the subject siding, as notified vide CCMIECoR'sCommercial Circular No. 07(G) 12014 dtd. 29.01.2014, has been changed.

Henceforth, chargeable distance for the traffic booked fromlto the siding will bereckoned as Kerejanga (KPJG) + 6.1 Km (six decimal one kilometer).

In case, any additional shunting operation is performed by Railway Locomotiveinside the siding, necessary shunting charges will be levied separately as per extantrules. All other terms and conditions as stipUlated in the CCMIECoR's CommercialCircular under reference will remain unchanged.

The above instructions shall come into force w.e.f. 27.02.2014.

Please refer to Board's letter No. 2009fTCFM/18/32 dt. 20.09.2011 vide which it hasbeen decided that in the case of traffic originating I terminating from I to the Mis. DPCl siding inECoR, RRs will be issued in the name of consignor I consignee instead of the port authority.This instruction was extended up to 19.03.2014 vide Board's letter of even numberdt.17.09.2013 [CCM/ECoR's Commercial Circular No. 103(G)/2013 Dt. 18.09.2013]

The matter has been examined and it has been decided to extend the validity of theafore-mentioned instruction regarding issue of RR for further period of six months Le. upto19.09.2014 or till implementation of the policy on Private Ports, whichever is earlier.

This issues in consultation with Freight Marketing Branch of Commercial Directorate andwith the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
