Hi, I’m Jimmy Reilly and let me start off by saying thank you, and congratulations on investing in the $100k FB Formula. This course is designed to take anyone through the steps of creating a 6-‐Jigure, $100,000 per year afJiliate business using Facebook. The strategies in this guide cost nothing to implement, and are able to achieve results quickly.
How This Came To Be
I wish I could take credit for this system myself…
But the truth is, I discovered this system when a coaching student of mine, Katrina Mayors, showed it to me.
Katrina was facing a grave situation – she had just received a foreclosure notice on her house, and as a broke, single mother of 2 boys she could not work.
In desperation she turned to Facebook marketing to dig herself out of her hole. With no money to spend on Ads, she studied every free method of Facebook marketing she could Jind…
…Only to be left disappointed with little results.
It was at this point, Katrina started to experiment – and through trial and error came up with the system you are about to learn.
Katrina joined my coaching program after building her Facebook afJiliate business to over $9,000 a month (that’s over $100,000 per year!) to take things to the next level.
But when I saw what she had accomplished, I immediately put her strategies to work in my own business, and worked with her to ‘systemize’ her methods so others can put them to work.

Affiliate Marke=ng 101
AfJiliate marketing simply means you are getting paid to sell other peoples products. You simply send visitors to a product owners website, and get paid when those visitors buy something.
Everything is tracked by third party ‘afJiliate networks’ who handle all of the technical details, and making sure everyone gets paid.
Some product vendors pay their afJiliates only when a visitor buys something (this is know as cost per sale, or CPS) while other vendors pay when a visitor takes another action like Jilling our a simple form (know as cost per action or CPA)
We will be offering both CPS and CPA products on Facebook to make the most for our efforts.
Below is a list of my top afJiliate networks. I chose these networks speciJically fro beginners because they are easy to join and easy to use.
You may have heard many afJiliate networks (especially CPA networks) are difJicult to join. This is true for some, however all of the networks I am listing here will accept inexperienced afJiliates who simply Jill out a form online (at least as of the time of this writing).

Amazon Associates
Amazon is the largest online retailer and you will Jind products for ANY niche on their network.

Clickbank is a retailer of digital products like software and information products. This has been my goto afJiliate network for years as many products offer as much as 75% commissions and the sales letters convert like crazy!

We all know eBay, we have all used eBay, and by joining their partner network you can make a commission recommending products and auctions from their site. This is not my Jirst choice as an afJiliate network, but for some niches you can Jind golden opportunities in products sold on eBay

Ok… This is my go-‐to CPA network for new marketers. Sure, there are more exclusive private networks you could join that offer higher commissions and more diverse products, but I always recommend PeerJly for 3 reasons:

So What Will We Be Doing?
To sum up this entire method, we will be using viral content to build a following on Facebook… And then promoting relevant, and high quality products for a nice commission.
We will start by creating an ‘Avatar’. This is like a pen name you will use that will have it’s own personal Facebook account and will be the source of our initial following.
Next we will use content marketing and a few little known tricks to turn that initial following into a passionate fanbase by building a ‘fanpage’.
And Jinally we will test different afJiliate offers to the fan base, and quickly determine the best way to monetize the audience.It’s a simple strategy that is easy to follow, and costs nothing to implement.

Planning
This is the most important section of this course.
Building a fan base is quite easy once you get the hang of it… But not every fanbase can be turned into cash. We want to build the fanpage in a niche that will actually spend money on the products we offer.
This bears repeating… Our goal is to build a fanbase of buyers.
Quality will get you further than quantity. Picking your niche, and the products to promote is half the battle.
Picking Your Niche
The Jirst thing we are looking for in a niche is shared passion. Is this a niche people are genuinely passionate about, would defend this passion, and shares this passion with others.
For example in the health niche… Cross-‐Jit is an unorthodox Jitness program that has a large and passionate membership. Members of this community share tips, ideas, and will actively proclaim their Jitness routine is ‘the best’.
Paleolithic dieters are another great example. This sub-‐culture of dieters will intensely defend their beliefs and enjoy sharing their beliefs with like minded people.
Passion and the desire to share are crucial when creating a viral campaign.
An extension on this concept are niches where people will want recognition in this niche.
For example, many members of extreme Jitness sub-‐groups like cross-‐Jit will post their ‘workouts of the day’ or pictures of themselves on facebook to get recognition.

This is true for other niches like the amateur photography niche – people passionate about photography love to share their work with other passionate people.
When you Jind a niche where people actively want to share content and be recognized for it, you will have a constant stream of user created content as well as trafJic.
The last (and probably most important) thing to look for in a niche is that people are spending money.
Look for relevant products in the afJiliate networks I have listed in the last section that you can sell to your niche.
I usually work my niche selection in reverse – Jind products that are selling on Clickbank and see if their audience is a passionate crowd.
One of the places I go when experimenting in a new niche is reddit. Reddit is a massive online community that is dived into groups that are passionate about a topic and regularly share content about their passions.

Both of these niches seem very passionate with an active community PLUS there are numerous products I can offer to the niche.
We will be going back to Reddit later in this guide as a source of content.

Lastly, the best niche you can enter is one that you yourself are passionate and knowledgeable about. So just to recap, we are looking for the following things in a niche:
1. Passionate group of people who like to share, and defend their passion. (like vegan dieters)
2. Members actively want to share their content and be recognized (like sharing their art or photos)
3. Products are successfully selling in the niche (check the afJiliate networks form the previous section)
And the bonus criteria:
1. A niche you yourself are passionate and knowledgeable about.
Use these 4 things as a checklist before you create a Fanpage using the strategies in this guide. This will ensure your success before you even begin doing any work.
Reality check: Not every niche will work. Even if it looks good on paper, some niches will just not work.
There are a million reasons why a niche might fail, but in truth it’s not important. There is only one solution to this problem…
KEEP ON TRYING.
You may get lucky and hit it out of the park with your Jirst fanpage…
…Or it may take until your 5th fanpage to see a signiJicant income.
The only question is, will you stick with this until it works for you?
And how fast will you get through building 5 of these if it meant you were guaranteed to be earning 6-‐Jigures by the end?

Picking Products To Promote
After picking a niche it’s important to pick the products you will promote before building anything out. This sets the groundwork and solid plan from the beginning, and allows you to test and see if you have a winner early on, before you spend too much time building out the fanpage.
You should have at least 10 products you can promote to your niche. Here are some guidelines I always follow when picking a product:
• Always have at least one book on Amazon you can promote
• At least one physical product from Amazon
• At least one Clickbank product with over 20 gravity
• At least one CPA offer that does not require a purchase.
As long as you have at least one of each of those above, you will be able to effectively judge your niche.
Some niches work better with physical products, some work better with published books, some work better with CPA offers. Testing each of these types of offers early on will help guide you to promoting offers in the future.
A few tips to look for when choosing an offer to promote:
• Look for higher priced items when promoting Amazon products. Since the commissions are only 4%, you will want to make up for this with higher prices
• Look for higher commissions – Some offers on Clickbank will ay 50% while others pay as much a 75%. That’s a 50% increase in how much you get paid! Always pick the offers that are willing to pay you more of the purchase price

• The offer’s sales page gives value – This is especially important when promoting ClickBank products. If the sales page or video sales letter provides value, it becomes easier to promote on the fanpage and can provide value to your audience. Fans don’t appreciate hard selling or ‘spam’
• Look for offers that give the visitor something free – Many afJiliate products have an opt-‐in page and email follow up sequence. As long as you drove the trafJic, you will get paid if the email sequence manages to sell the product. But since the opt-‐in page is giving something for free, it provides value to your fans and does not come across as hard selling.
• Contest CPA offers – In some niches you Jind contests that pay you a commission when your visitor participates. This is a great way to earn money, and is something you should look for when choosing a niche (just check PeerFly or any other CPA network for contest offers.)
There is one rule to live by in afJiliate marketing:
Test. Everything.
Every niche is different, every audience is different, products come and go…
…The important thing is to keep trying new offers, and new angles. When ever I go into a project I expect 80% of my efforts to fail.
Think about that:
20% of what you do is what will earn 80% of the income.

This also means 80% of what you do will not earn very much. It can be disheartening to see an offer fail to convert, or something doesn’t go as viral as you like. This will happen 80% of the time in my experience.
Just remember… Get through the 80% that will fail, and you will Jind the 20% that wins.
And those winners are what make everything worth it.

SeIng Everything Up
Now we can get started with the step-‐by-‐step instruction.
I am hoping by now you have signed up for the afJiliate networks I mentioned above, and went through the planning I outlined.
SeIng Up Personal Facebook Account
We are going to be using our personal Facebook account to generate the initial fanbase. You can use your current personal account, or you can create a new one using a pen name.
There is one big reason we need to use a personal account Jirst: Facebook only allows personal pages to join groups. And this method will be using groups to make content go viral.
I always recommend using a pen name when running your online business… I use pen names for everything and have a number of ‘avatars’ for each niche that I sell products in.
An avatar is simply an identity you use in your marketing.
When creating your avatar I recommend using a pen name that is easy to remember, easy to spell, and does not belong to any public Jigures or copyrights. That means using ‘Donald Trump’ or ‘Steve Jobs’ as your pen name is out J
Start by creating a new email account, I prefer to use gmail but you can use any free email account for this:

SeIng Up Fanpage
Our ultimate goal is build a fanpage, and get our audience to follow the page, and share our content.
After logging into facebook, go to this link to set up a new fanpage:

I always select ‘brand or product’, and choose the category that best Jits the niche. 9 times out of 10 I will select website (once your fan page starts producing income you will want to build out a website to continue scaling).
After you create the page, skip all of the walkthroughs that Facebook makes you go through, we will add content and Jill out the details later.

Finding Content
Next we need some basic content for the page. At minimum we need:
• A cover image• ProJile picture• 1 video from YouTube (not original)• 3 pictures to post.
Ideally, you want to have at least 5 posts on your fanpage before you start promoting it. The fanpage will act as a landing page for your trafJic, so it’s important to have at least some activity.
Important note: Content on Facebook does not have to be original.
Think about it… if you are an audience in a passionate niche, you would be doing them a service Jinding relevant, high quality content and distributing it.
You want to think of your page as a news source and publisher in your niche – there is new content being created everyday, at you are providing a service to your fans by putting it all in one place.
Here are my top sources of new content in any niche:
YouTube
I think this one needs no explanation. YouTube is the largest video hosting website in the world, and the right YouTube video on your page can go viral fast… Even if you didn’t create the content.

Reddit is a large community with many sub-‐reddits that are smaller communities in every niche you can imagine.
In most niches Reddit is the only source you need – there is new quality content being posted every minute and users are able to vote on the best content, which sorts it nicely for you.
You could just take the top posts on Reddit in your niche everyday, and use them as the content for your fanpage.

MorgueFile is a directory of public domain and royalty free images that you can use for almost any purpose – including commercial.

There are a few pointers to keep in mind:
• You proJile picture should never change – fans will recognize your proJile picture and come to expect it. Make sure the picture you choose is one you will keep.
• Your proJile picture should be human! – All of my most successful fanpages have used a human face as the proJile picture.
• Bring out the eyes – A human face with bright colored eyes draws your attention. The example in the image above is one of the highest clicked images in my Facebook ads, which is why I chose to use it as my proJile avatar.
• Your cover image should be relevant to your niche

GeIng Your First 10k Fans
Now that you have everything planned out, and all of your accounts are set up it’s time to start building a fanbase.
In my experience the Jirst 10,000 fans are crucial… After this point fanpages tend to grow virally and you can reach 100,000… Even a million fans or more just by posting the right content and engaging your audience.
Lets get started.
Find Groups And Join Them
We are going to use Facebook groups to provide us with the initial trafJic to our fanpages. There is one important thing to keep in mind:
We are using groups for their viral effect, not just for the group members.
Posting content in just one group or highly targeted prospects in the niche you chose can generate thousands of fans… even if the group has under 100 members.
Let me explain…
When you post content in a group of people who have a genuine interest in the topic, they will like and share the content on their own personal pages. And for each person that shares it, your content will gain exposure to there hundreds of friends.
This effect multiplies quickly, especially when you can regularly post new content.
The Jirst step in this process is to use Facebook’s search tool to Jind groups in the niche we are targeting. You will need keywords that are relevant to your niche.

The best way to get a list of keywords is to use Google’s keyword planner tool here:

You don’t need to get too crazy looking for keywords, competition and search volume do not matter. We are just looking for different search terms to help us Jind more groups.
Once you have your list, just search each keyword one at a time in Facebook’s search bar:

Depending on your niche you will see a handful, or dozens of open groups for you to join in the results. Just click the join button for each group to become a member.
Facebook will occasionally help your search by Jinding similar groups to the ones in their results like in the image below:
The more groups you join, the faster you will be able to build your initial fanbase.

Building The Personal Account
Facebook only allows personal accounts to join groups and that is why we are building up a personal following before building our fanpage.
A few key points to keep in mind about groups:
• Be personable! People join groups to Jind others who share their interests. The more approachable you are, the more they are likely to share your content and engage on your page.
• Provide value to the group. Don’t think of yourself as a marketer or a salesman when you approach these groups. You are here to share valuable content and be part of a community.
• Like and share content posted by others. Reciprocity is a powerful tool… When you are sharing others content they will be more likely to share your content.
And remember, each initial fan and like you generate will turn into 100 fans later on as they continue to share your content, and their friends share your content.
For every 10 people you engage with in these groups, it will turn into 1,000 fans or more in the coming days/weeks. So don’t count anyone out.

Pos=ng Viral Content to Build Fanbase
Our strategy for posting content will be to Jirst post it on our fanpage, and then posting it into the group with a subtle link to the fanpage.
You do not want to make it obvious that you are promoting or have an agenda. Depending on the group, I will occasionally post content directly to the group or things I Jind on other fanpages just to make it less obvious I am promoting my own.
The best and most viral content I have found, is video. Video posts have generated more fans than any others so I recommend you start there.
Your video do not have to be original, you can simply post any Youtube video relevant to your niche on your fanpage, and then post the fanpage link into the group with a short comment.
For the best results, downloading the video and re-‐uploading it directly to your fanpage will increase the viral response you get.

Videos are the most viral posts you can make, however there are plenty of other sources as well:
• Anything found on Reddit in your niche.
• Recent news articles are especially powerful because they invoke discussion
• Memes (more on this later)
It should only take a week of uploading content to your fanpage and posting them to groups to get your fanpage to 10,000 fans.
Once you get to 10,000 fans, your page will be large enough to grow itself virally and you will no longer need to use the group strategy.
Pro Tip: Increase your odds… Start multiple fan pages in various niches. Some will build faster, and you will increase the chances of getting to 6-‐Jigures that much quicker.

Going Viral – GeIng to 100k Fans
This next section is all about getting your fanpage to 100,000 fans and beyond. These strategies can be used to build your initial fanbase as well, however the group method in the previous section is way more effective at getting your initial fanbase.
Once you hit 10,000 fans you will want to start using the techniques in this section to grow further, as well as the techniques in the next section to start monetizing.
I believe in monetizing a fanpage as early as possible in order to test the audience so you can focus your efforts in your most successful pages.
Pos=ng Valuable Content
The key to generating viral trafJic is to post valuable engaging content, and getting users to share it.
Here are a few guidelines to creating ‘viral content’:
• Content that sparks a debate (like posting Obama facts on a republican page or gun rights quotes on a page for veterans)
• Content the is controversial (any recent news item that is getting a lot of attention)

A meme is usually a picture or series of pictures with a funny or ‘niche relevant’ caption added to it.
These pictures can be extremely viral (I’ve had single meme’s generate over 1,000 new fans in under 12 hours!)

With their most recent changes, user engagement is a BIG factor as to whether or not your posts will show up in your fans newsfeed.
The reality: These changes have actually made it EASIER to build your fanbase virally because 90% of marketers are doing it wrong. Follow these steps and you will show up on your fans newsfeed every time… While your competition wonders why they are not getting any new likes.
There are three big things you want to do in order to get your fanbase to engage with you (I’ll give you an example too):
• Post content that is controversial, and will garner a strong opinion from your audience
• Like any comments you receive and reply to them with your own comments
• Use a strong call to action in every post. (Tell them exactly what to do)

This niche is very anti-‐government, and anti-‐establishment. I found an image on Reddit that I knew would resonate with this market:
The only text I used was ‘share this if you agree’. This is a simple call to action – I know that my target audience would strongly agree with the content of the image, and so all I had to do was to tell them SPECIFICALLY what to do.

Over 1,000 likes and over 100 shares (and counting) just for posting this piece of content. It took about 10 minutes to Jind download this from Reddit, and re-‐post it on my fanpage.
GeIng New Content From Fans
In many niches you can build the fanpage to the point where you don’t even need to Jind new content… Your fans will Jind it for you!
Set up an email address for fans to send in their own conent, and invite them to send you videos, pictures, news stories, and anything else related to your niche. This strategy works better in some niches thatn in others, but it is worth trying on EVERY one of your pages.
This is another reason you engage your fans directly and comment on their comments. You want your page to feel of as though it is a community… The more your fans feel they belong to something, the more likely they will provide you with content.
Pro Tip: Start a scavenger hunt in your niche for new content… You can offer recognition and even prizes to the fan who Jinds the best content as measured by likes.

Making It Go Viral
Posting quality content to a passionate audience is enough to virally grow your fanpage. The content you post is the basis of everything, and most fanpages can get away with this alone.
As I went over before, always have a call to action in your posts. Invite them to comment, like, and share the content.
Calls to action usually work best when you give a reason to take the action. For example, you never want to say “please share this” or “like my page”…
You want to give them a reason why they should take action:
• “Share if you agree”
• “Share if your friends will agree”
• Comment and let me know what you think”
• “Share so we can spread the word about this”
Adding a ‘reason why’ to your call to action will double your response (this is true when getting a visitor or fan to take any action, including buying a product or optin into a list).
Massive Viral Trick: Content contests.
I mentioned before how you want to get your fans to provide you with content to post… There is one more trick that can give you a massive boost in spreading the content virally: Give the content creator an incentive to share the content.

This is how I generally run my contests:
1. Fans and encouraged to send me content in order to win a prize (many times one of my products, a tee shirt, a coupon, or just recognition on the front page of the fan page)
2. The winner of the contest is judged based on how many shares and likes their content receives on the page.
3. This encourages the people who submit content to share it, AND get their friends to share it as well, trying to win the contest.
The result of this strategy is a massive inJlux of shares and likes from people you normally wouldn’t have access too, because the content creators are actively promoting your page!
Just think: You can have your Fans not only provide you with content… but actively promoting and getting the content shared!
This is hands down the fastest way to build your fanpage.

GeIng Paid – Making $100,000 Per Year
Making money on Facebook will require some trial and error…
To repeat from the previous section: 20% or your efforts will earn 80% of the money.
There are so many factors that determine whether or not a fanpage will make money. The niche, the offers, the content…
I have had fanpages with only 20,000 fans make me over $10,000 a month in afJiliate commissions…
And I have had fanpages with over 100,000 fans BARELY break a few hundred dollars a month.
The most important thing is to never let luck determine your success. Create multiple pages, in numerous niches and test everything.
Remember: 80% of your efforts will not make a lot of money. But you need to get through those tests to Jind the 20% that will make all the difference.

When posting afJiliate links to your fanpages there are a few guidelines you need to follow. Facebook is a social platform, and they don’t like to be marketed too or sold… You will need to make your afJiliate links valuable to for the audience.
For starters… don’t make your actual link obvious. Always use tinyURL or another URL shortner to ‘cloak’ your link so fans are not averse to clicking on them.

There are a few strategies you can use to turn afJiliate links into valuable posts:
Strategy #1: Do a product review (especially a video review). This works especially well for Amazon products. Find items your audience is already likely to consider purchasing, and compare two cameras.
For example, in the photography niche I would post a review of 2 well known cameras, and recommend one to my audience. This provides value to the audience, because many are already trying to decide which camera they would like to buy and the review is genuinely helpful.
Strategy #2: CPA contest/giveaway offers. CPA offers on PeerFly and other networks generally give something of value away, or offer incentivized contests to visitors. These giveaways, coupons, and contests are valuable on their own so they are easy to post on your fanpage for quick proJits.
Strategy #3: Promote products that offer value on their sales page. Many products on Clickbank use a video sales letter that gives tips, tricks, and other useful information. You can post your afJiliate link and tell your audience to ‘check out’ a speciJic tip that is given in the video.
Remember: the most important thing you can take away from this section is to add value, don’t try to hard pitch your fanpage.
And test everything… Find out which offers work the best and post them repeatedly.

Email List Building
The next step up from afJiliate marketing is to build your own email list. Email marketing is hands down one of the most important things you can do to expand your business.
And guess what? You don’t even need a website or any technical expertise in order to do it.
Nope… There are just two inexpensive services you can use to start building an email list in minutes.
The Jirst thing you will need is an auto-‐responder service. And auto-‐responder company will handle all of the technical details of email marketing like keeping the list, opting subscribers in, scheduling emails, and most importantly: Getting your emails delivered into your subscribers inbox.

In order to get your fans onto you email list, you will need to offer them something of value in return for their email. I use 3 different strategies on my fanpages… the only way to know which will work best in your niche is to test.
Strategy #1: The free report. Offering your fans a free report, video, or any content of value is a time-‐tested method that works great in some niches.
Strategy #2: Create ‘insiders club’. This is probably the most effective method for generating leads from fanpages, AND you don’t have to create any content to give away. They opt in to your list soley for the sake of opting in.
The beneJits for opting in would be different for every niche, and you will need to split test different ones to Jind out which works best for you. Being a club member can entitle them to coupons, tips, more content, discounts, or anything else that is valuable to the prospect you are selling.
Strategy #3: Enter to win page… This method of squeeze page asks the user to optin for a chance to win some prize. This method can work extremely well in some niches, and the prize can be something as simple as having their content posted on the fanpage (which is a big win-‐win for you)
Once you have them opted-‐into your list, I would recommend emailing them every day for the Jirst week, and then scale it back to every other day. Try out new offers in an auto-‐responder sequence and put your highest converting emails/offers to the front of the auto-‐responder.
