What we do: • Collect colour coded stickers for each term -

of the early years curriculum, ranging from birth to 60 months The stickers individualised and based on the
levels that your child is working at in each area
• We collate photos which show their achievements
• Include work, pictures, paintings, mark making etc
• Home achievement stickers
What is it?:
• We have also started to use Evidence for Learning to gather evidence of children’s learning and their learning journeys. This uses photos and video’s of the children engaging in certain activities which is then annotated by the teacher relating to the curriculum
• You are able to access this from home (Parent Portal) and you can add in your own images/videos/annotations for us to see
• Builds a lovely picture of the children’s learning journey both at home and in school
• We provide general snack; fruit, bread sticks, biscuits, water, milk and juice.
• You can send in specific snack if needed.
• Free school meals – can always send in packed lunch too.
• Nut Free School – PLEASE check packaging for any. Internet log in details that you will need to choose weekly meals from for your child.
• Dietary requirements – Blended? Mashed? Thickener? We have facilities to meet any specific textures.

• Outdoor play happens throughout the day, every day, no matter what the weather
• We provide all in one waterproof suits
• The activities can be wet and muddy therefore they will get dirty.
• We aim to change them regularly so they are not in wet/dirty clothes for too long
• Outdoor play is important for your child's physical, social and emotional development. It also provides endless learning opportunities
I’m sorry that I got my uniform dirty today but it helps
to show what I have been doing
Painting helps me to develop my creativity. Sometimes I accidently get paint on my top as I
work
learnt so much when I was playing in the water
tray
helps me to develop my imagination and
communication skills
the outdoor area to develop my
physical skills
trying so hard with my mark making and
drawing
eat
Big movements like running and jumping help me to get better
with small movements like
writing
