a difficult one. Success is found if you

can accomplish each of these goals:

1) Introduce a product unique to the

industry; 2) Design it with the highest

quality and detail possible; 3) Make

something that you’re proud of; and,

4) Price it to reach the masses without

sacrificing quality. With our Jingle Balls,

we feel we’ve done that.

Since 1984, when Judi first took her

paintbrush to her first hand made

chalkware, she created a collectible

that has stood the test of time. Today,

we continue to treat our chalkware like

a fine art, that preserves the cherished

memories of the holiday season with

loved ones and are passed down for

generations.

The key to her work—which has made

our chalkware unique to the industry—

is the detail. And, when we set off to

develop a new product line, we decided

to combine two concepts: the detail that

Vaillancourt Folk Art is known for with the

ball concept that everyone associates

with Christmas ornaments.

While our figural ornaments (opposite

page) are literal interpretations of its

chalkware counterpart, each Jingle

Ball depicts the face of the chalkware

while integrating subtle detail and

America Yacht Santa (VFA Nr. 15022) – The idea of

summer conjures a lot of images, notably the beach, the warm

sand under toe and, of course, the yachts that travel the cool

waves of the ocean. It was with these ideas, combined with art

and history, that brought Judi to design the 2015 Nantucket

Summer Series Santa.

In 1851, James Bard, an American marine artist hailing

from White Plains, New York painted one of his most noted

works of art that’s been celebrated for years since, America.

The painting depicted the 19th century racing yacht which

was the first winner of the America’s Cup international sailing

trophy. Competing against seven schooners and eight cutters,

America started the race behind because of a fouled anchor.

Once underway, the ship quickly caught up and surpassed the

other ships winning with an 18 minute lead.

The 2015 Nantucket Santa depicts this legendary yacht on

its coat while the anchor is featured as a pattern on his hood.

Along the base is a boat’s rope design that compliments

the nautical blues and seascape along the back of the coat.

Whether you love art, history, or Christmas, there is no doubt

that the 2015 Nantucket Santa brings them all together.

2015 Starlight SantaFather Christmas Delivering ToysSince 1990, the annual Starlight Santa has been painted in limited quantities

with a portion of the proceeds benefiting a local organization dedicated to

improving the quality of life for children undergoing medical treatments. The

pieces are painted up until Christmas Day before being retired never to

be produced again. As we celebrate 25 years, we hope that you enjoy the
