You have seen them around the cottage, the river, maybe even a floating yoga class. There is no doubt that Stand Up Paddling is popular right now with lots of options for boards on the market. Hold up before you grab one from the nearest gas station on the way to the Muskokas..... not all boards are created equal. While they make look similar those “budget” boards are very heavy (think 60 lbs), slow and a bit like paddling a floating dock!
