MISSION

To provide our clients with measurable and significant productivity gains through excellence in Energy Auditing, Energy Management and Technology Training.

1. Methodology:

A visit for a typical energy audit takes about three to Four weeks for our team (depending on the size of the plant and the inclusions and exclusions which are plant specific).

During the visit, all the data collection, measurements (with our own set of instruments) performance test of critical equipment and preliminary analysis are completed.

At the end of the audit, preliminary observations about the saving potential in various areas is discussed and presented to the client.

2. WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO AND HOW IT WILL BENEFIT CLIENTS

1. Electrical Distribution Network & Usage

a) Transformers: Performance evaluation through measurement of major electrical parameters on H.T. and L.T. side and rationalization of transformer loading if required. (Losses on Transformers and % Loading)

b) Power Factor: Measurement of distortion and displacement power factor at various points viz. PCC, MCC, Load centers etc. and analysis of the same for optimizing the network losses.

c) Metering and Monitoring Status: Review of existing meters for adequate monitoring requirements.

d) Electricity Bills: Study of present consumption pattern and recommendations for optimization.

e) Measure voltage drop in various feeders and improvement proposal. f) Measure Motors and measure % of loading and performance efficiency g) Measure rated Output and rated Input and % loading h) Identify grossly under loaded motor for replacement of the same with EE

motor.

2. Lightings

Page 2: EA Scope General

a) Measurement of Illumination efficacy and Room Index as per latest standards (lighting system Energy Efficiency study along with population of lightings)

b) Management of light intensity and all major electrical parameters viz. Voltage, amp. P.F. KW etc.

c) Measure Existing setup and propose EE lighting. Study of type of lamps used, type of chokes used, day and night time lighting etc

3. Water Pumps

a) Evaluation of performance with respect to head / pressure, flow, power consumption of pumps. Measure actual Head and rated head with respect to flow

b) Pump efficiency. Study present system with respect to flow, requirement and losses.

4 Air Compressors if any

a) Measure compressor performance. Determination of compressor capacities (Volumetric efficiency FAD Test) and specific power consumption. (KW / CFM)

b) Load on Compressor motors (% loading)c) Study of pressure loss for main circuits. (Pressure drops) d) % Leakage in your system (LEAKAGE TEST). Leakage detection and

quantification of your plant / factory leakage in terms of KW Hr Units loss. Identification of leakage points through our Ultrasonic Leak detector instrument.

5. Cooling Towers

a) Measure Cooling Tower Performance. Evaluation of cooling performance by measurement of water flow, inlet/outlet temperatures and ambient air

DBT/WBT, air flow, fan power etc.b) Measure cooling Tower Effectiveness. Co-relation of cooling tower

performance with due consideration of cooling water system as a whole. c) Efficient system operation

6. Furnaces / Ovens if any

a) Furnace efficiency in Direct Method b) Measurement of various losses like sensible heat loss in flue gas, Heat loss

due to openings, Heat loss through furnace skin, unaccounted losses etc.c) Radiation heat loss, Wall losses etc.

7. HVAC / CHILLING PALNT

a) Performance assessment of Refrigeration/ Chilling Plant. Establishing present efficiency levels and Coefficient of Performance.

b) Specific Power consumption kW / TR.

Page 3: EA Scope General

c) Possibilities of optimization of refrigeration & A/C load.

8. Fans and Blowers

a) Evaluation of performance with respect to head/pressure, flow, power consumption of blowers.

b) Blower Performance and efficiency c) Calculation of Velocity Pressure, Velocity, Air density etc

9. D G Set system

a) Load pattern, load Characteristics and DG set capacity. b) Establish present performance levels.

10 . Heat exchangers :

LIMITED TO TWO NUMBER HEAT EXCHANGER ONLY

a) Heat exchanger Performance Assessment – Overall Heat transfer co efficient, effectiveness, LMTD etc.

We trust our scope of work mentioned above is in line with your requirement, we are looking forward to receive your valued orders.

Should you have any queries, please feel free to contact us.Thanking and assuring of our prompt and best services always

Yours sincerely,
