E1b1b1a (E-M78) Haplogroup in Lebanon and Egypt as Possible Origin of European E1b1b1a2 (V13) Haplogroup E1b1b1a2 defined by the V13/V36/L142.1 SNPs is a descending Haplogroup of E1b1b1a2. Before we can understand the possible starting point of any haplogroup we must understand where these haplogroups ancestors and relatives are located. Take a look at the following SNP Tree Starting with E1b1b. You read these just as you would a family tree descendancy report. Taking Into consideration in your family if you have a brother, all of your descendants are descendants of your father but not all of your fathers descendants are yours. Same applies in the Y-DNA tree. All V13s are M78 but not all M78 are V13. 1. E1b1b (E-M215) 2. E1b1b1 (E-M35) Origins Africa/Near East 3. E1b1b1a (E-M78) Origins Egypt/Libya/Sudan 4. E1b1b1a (E-M78) Haplogroup in Lebanon and Egypt as Possible Origin of European

E1b1b1a2 (V13)

Haplogroup E1b1b1a2 defined by the V13/V36/L142.1 SNPs is a descending Haplogroup of E1b1b1a2.

One must know that during recent studies of Lebanon and Syria they found a significant source of E-M78. The problem is they did not test for SNPs downstream of E-M78. There were in all 68 participants that came back as E1b1b1a (E-M78). Within those 68 participants there was found 41 Unique Haplotypes using only 10 STRs.

One must consider comparing those 41 Haplotypes to the known E-M78 participants around the world.

Out of those 41 Haplotypes the 21 Haplotypes have perfect matches. Out of those 21 Haplotypes with perfect matches 7 have a 95% chance of being V13. 5 of them have a 95% chance of being V22. 3 of them have a chance of being V12. 2 of them have a chance of being V65. 2 of them have a chance of being either V12 or V13. 2 of them have a chance of being either V12 or V13

Of those 7 Haplotypes that are predicted there are 13 total participants.

13/68=20% of the E-M78 Study was V13.

Among those 13 V13s, 8 are from the Lebanon Coast, 2 from Egypt, 1 from Palestine, 1 from the Syria Inland South.

One might assume that the origins of V13 are in the Balkans. Until now we did not know it was Egypt or Lebanon.

One might assume a theory that these V13s came from the Balkans as Roman Soldiers, If this is the case than one can also assume they are the descendants of Caphtor that became the Philistines.

One may also assume these are the Ancestors of some Phoenicians.

The theories are about to begin.
