PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE It gives me immense pleasure to pen a few words as prologue to our in-house magazine „E-THARANGA‟ exclusively meant for churning out the talent of achievers of department of ECE. Empowerment of students for their all round development through education is our cherished motto. Today education means much more than merely acquiring knowledge. It is acquisition of knowledge and skills. I whole heartedly thank the Hon. Management for giving all the support wherever and whenever required. I congratulate the willing contribution of the teaching and non-teaching staff of department of ECE and over whelming response and enthusiastic participation of my dear students in the department activities. When all the constituents come together and work in unison, the expected results are bound to flow. I congratulate all the contributors and the editorial board for bringing out such a beautiful magazine. I am proud of being the Principal of such a wonderful institution dedicated to the causes of better India. Through education and their real empowerment, impossible will be possible.
FROM HOD’S DESK We are happy to inform that our pride rests in the magazine “E-THARANGA”, which highlights the academic and non-academic activities of both staff and students of the department. During every semester, the calendar of events is prepared, which implicitly incorporates all the curricular and extra-curricular activities of the department and is followed meticulously without any deviation. Importance is given to quality teaching and learning process through Faculty development programs for Teachers and Technical programs for Students. Learning is a continuous process and does not end with the acquisition of a degree, especially because steady and rapid advances in computing technologies shorten the life of tools and techniques prevalent today. Therefore we do not aim to make our students walking manuals of any language or package. Instead, they are given a strong foundation, and are made adaptable to changes. We believe that this approach to teaching-learning, coupled with practical experience gained during Industrial Training in reputed organizations, equips our students to handle any challenges at the outer world.
