The events season has well and truly started and what betterway to kick it off then the Shropshire Model Show at CosfordMuseum. This event was made even more special with thefirst unveiling of the brand new tooling of the Lancaster. Both the Dambuster Special and the BII versions were on display at the show, with theexhibition of all of the Dambuster Lancasters complete in all their glory. Each individualkit has been created and put on display with the story and details relating to the individualaircraft and crew.

This commemoration to the Dambusters was on display in the main museum receptionand Airfix were proud that the launch of our new kit could be a part of it.

Amongst the Dambusters we also had many other kits on display. The eventwas a fantastic success and we hope these pictures share a little of the day’sevents with you all.

The Club put together an informativeaircraft display board.Dambuster Lancaster in flight.

All 19 have details of what happened to theparticular aircraft.
