barszcz (borscht) with uszka (small dumplings) – a classic Polish Christmas Eve starter, followed by fried carp, carp fillet or cod with apple & leeks fresh salad, carp in aspic etc. traditionally carp (fried or Jewish style) provides a main component of the Christmas Eve meal across Poland. Other popular dishes, for the next day, include pickled matjas herring, rollmops, pierogi with sauerkraut and forest mushrooms, fish soup, kiełbasa, hams and bigos (savory stew of cabbage and meat) and vegetable salads. Among popular desserts are gingerbread, cheesecake, various fruits like oranges among others, poppy seed cake makowiec (makówki in Silesia), fruit compote, kluski with poppyseed, kutia sweet grain pudding in the eastern regions, like (Białystok) and ginger bread. Regional dishes include żurek, siemieniotka (in Silesia), and kołduny - mushrooms or meat stuffed dumplings in the eastern regions.

LAVASH is Armenian traditional unleavened bread. It is the most widespread type of bread in Armenia. Lavash is made by flourflour, waterwater, and salt.

It is rich in calcium and has a lot of vitamins (B1, B2).Tahini is a natural product and is produced from crushed sesame seeds (Seasamun Indicum).HONEYHoney is aromatic and sweet. It comes from the plant's nectar, which is collected by bees. The bees change it into a thick liquid for their food. They save this in their honeycomb. It is a natural substance which can be used in a number of foods.YOGHURTYoghurt is made from boiled milk which has thickened with the help of microorganisms. Method1.Firstly crack open 4 eggs into a bowl.2.Secondly grate the cheese.3.Thirdly,chop your ham and cheese and gently tip them into the bowl.4.Then mix them together (carefully)5.Then add a sprinkle of salt and pepper.6.Then turn the cooker on.7.Pour the omelette mix into a frying pan.8.Leve them in the cooker till they get golden brown.

After a controversy between the Goddess Athena and the God Poseidon on by whom would the city be named after, the Goddess Athena won by offering a piece of olive tree.

• For dough:• 1.5 cups of lukewarm water• 2. 3 vanillas• 3.big spoon sugar (tablespoon)• 4.500 gr. Poland OlsztynCarnival snack- finger foods

• Cook brussels sprouts semi-hard with salt and half a teaspoon of sugar (about 15 minutes). Be careful not to boil Brussels sprouts, because then loses its color. Cook is not covering the pot with a lid.

• When cooked, drain off any water and stir with a spoon of butter brussels sprouts. On skewers stuffed sequentially cherry tomatoes, cheese, and at the end of the warm brussel sprouts. Arrange shashliks in the glass, creating a bouquet.

• 400 gr. Yoghurt• 10-15 strawberries• 3-4tablespoons strawberry jam• 16 biscuits• 2 tablespoons icing sugar• Procedure • In a plastic cup break a biscuit into small pieces.• Cut the strawberries into halves.• In a bowl mix the yoghurt and sugar.• Add the strawberry jam.• Mix all the ingredients.• Put strawberries into the cups.• Add the mixture and stir.• Your dessert is ready.

• Ghapama• 3 hours, for 15 person• Ingredients• 1 middle pumpkin• 1 glass rice• 1 glass different dried fruits• 1 glass nuts• 1 small glass oil (or butter 2 table spoon)• Cinnamon• Bahar• Salt• Preparation• Cut topping of the pumpkin as it becomes cover for it. Then clean kernel of the pumpkin.

Cut dried fruits and nuts and heat in the oil.

Add the rice, honey and cut fruits and nuts so to fill the half of the pumpkin.

Pull water to cover the rice.

Close the pumpkin with its top and cook it in oven till the water sucks in the rice and the pumpkin is cooked.

• Ingredients: curd 1 cups; flour 1/2 cups; tablespoon sugar; 2 eggs; 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract; 1 tablespoon lemon juice; 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel.

• Mix eggs with sugar. In curd add eggs with sugar, curd vanilla extract, lemon juice, flour and all this is mixed well. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
