GO GREEN DAY
In order to sensitize students towards to need to preserve the flora and fauna, tree plantation drive was organized on July 5, 2019 in the Pre-Primary Section, where they planted numerous saplings which are elemental to the ecology. The campus buzzed with a series of activities. The students presented songs and rhymes using props and actions on significance of nature and plants thus building a bond between themselves and environment. The head of the institution Ms. Sudha Pandey appreciated the efforts of the students to save mother Earth.
FOUNDATION DAY - 6th JULYThe student Council members for the academic session were sworn in on July 6, 2019 at an impressive Investiture Ceremony on the Foundation Day of the school. The function began with the lighting of the lamp by the Management Members and Dignitatires.
The academic toppers and Sports winners were the cynosures of all eyes. They were awarded scholarships amidst deafening applause. Academic Scholarship was awarded to the meritorious students and are given100% scholarship in Tuition Fee. Chhavi singh (II B), Vedha Diwakar (III B), Advik Patel (V B), Rishit Mittal (VIII B), and Vignesh Patidar (X B) received the scholarship.
Sports Scholarship was awarded to Karan Dixit and Sandeep Jat of Class 11. They are given 50% scholarship in Tuition Fee and Annual Charges, for their excellent performance in the arena of sports.
To top it up to perfection of the day, Students put up entertaining performances and musicals.
The torch bearers presented a lively and enthusiastic ambience among the vibrant students and carried out march past in synchronized coordination to the music performed by the school band. Head of the institution Ms. Sudha Pandey, administered the oath of sincerity and dedication. President, IPS group of Institutions Ar. Achal Choudhary graced the occasion and urged the council members to become promising leaders of tomorrow fulfilling the vision and mission of school. Head Girl, Ms. Surbhi Thakur proposed the vote of thanks. It was a colourful occasion, where each elected member was all set to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them.
“Breathe easy, let's Plant Some Trees!”
A plantation drive was conducted on Sirpur Lake on July 7, where teachers along with 50 students joined hands to make the area green and vibrant. As many as 150 tree saplings were planted including Gulmohar, Karanj and Bamboo. The enthusiastic students cultivated the area earmarked for this plantation drive.
Mr. Bhalu Mondhe (Padma shri) President of TNV (NGO) and the staff of Sirpur Lake motivated the students to plant more and more trees and take care of them thereafter.
The area is dwelling of many other migratory birds during this season, so it offered a wonderful panorama of colourful birds like Egrets, Cormorant, Rails, Spot Billed Duck and Open Billed Storks flying around.

INTER HOUSE CARD AND PUPPET MAKING COMPETITION
Art and Craft develop student's creativity and al low them to express their imagination freely.
Keeping this in mind 'Inter House Puppet Making Competition' for class IX – XII was organized on July 12, 2019, where in the students in pairs participated whole heartedly.
The students made beautiful and attractive puppets with waste materials like socks, ribbons, plastic glasses, sticks, cotton and numerous other things. The students were enthusiastic for each item was rendered carefully without the slightest trace of negligence. The winners are as follows:
'Inter House Card Making Competition' was organised for Class VI – VIII. The topic for the same was 'Thank you'. The students participated keenly and made beautiful cards by the dint of their creativity.Each Card made by them was a treat to the eyes. This made the selection process very difficult for the judges. Students enjoyed the competition in full zest.

The festival of Guru Purnima was celebrated on July 16, 2019 with devotion and great reverence. There was a special assembly dedicated to the teachers, the 'gurus' to mark the event replete with a speech and shlok chanting to hghlight the importance of a Guru in our lives.
Head of the Institution Ms. Sudha Pandey made the students aware of the fact that everyday could be Guru Purnima in their lives when they honour what life has taught them.

GURU PURNIMA CELEBRATION
MOVIE – OUTING
For the overall development of the students, Indore Public School provides it's boarders a rejuvenating break from their monotonous routines through outing. The hostel students of classes K.G.II-XII visited C21 Mall on July 16, 2019 along with the hostel staff. After enjoying an appealing movie, 'Super 30' at the Mall, all the students had a blast when they gyrated on the floor and showcased their delight by dancing on the rocking tunes at Hotel Guru Kripa. The scrumptious buffet doubled their enjoyment. They reached their second home with wonderful memories and a rejuvenated spirit.
All the students class XI & XII of Biology Stream along with their mentor Ms. Mridula Gupta, got a unique opportunity to peer into an Operation Theater of Choitram hospital on July 17, 2019. In the 'Live From Surgery Program' they witnessed the live demonstration of open heart surgery and were explained all the parameters regarding the precautions taken during the surgery. During 'Meet The Surgeon Session' students communicated with the doctors in auditorium and quenched their thirst by putting up queries regarding the surgery. This powerful learning experience exposed the students to careers in medical field.

An Inter House Group Song Competition was held on July 18, 2019 to mark the Birth Anniversary of Lt. Shri Rajmalji Porwal, fondly known as 'Papaji' who believed that 'Dreams Never Die.'
All houses were well prepared with their songs based on the theme of devotion and pulled the heartstrings of the audience. Judges - Mr. Rajat Patel and Mr. Vikas Chouhan thoroughly enjoyed the mellifluous group songs. They were impressed with the passion, tonal quality and the fervor with which the students sang. Though, to rate the performances became a very difficult task in the face of excellent performances, but based on overall efforts Gandhi House emerged as the winner for the Competition. Tagore House was adjudged the first runner up and Subhash House was second runner up.
INTER HOUSE GROUP SONG COMPETITION
Vocabulary is a matter of word-building as well as word-using.
To develop avid readers, numerous
activities were used to introduce new vocabulary word.
The toddlers of the school celebrated “Rainy Vocabulary Week” on July
25, 2019 within the school premises.
Instead of
confining them to classrooms, the toddlers of kindergarten were
brought out in an open ground by their mentors with picture-vocabulary
concept. The students actively participated in various activities related
to rainy season like songs, rhymes, assembly presentations etc.

ENGLISH VOCABULARY WEEK
Indore Sahodaya School Principals' Meet was held on July 20, 2019 at Indore Public School with an objective of making Indore a Smart City with the promising cooperation of Torchbearers of Education. Ms. Reena Khurana - Chair person Indore Sahodaya School Complex addressed a gathering of 70 Principals across Indore as the chief guest.
The session focussed on paradigm shift in the education system where not only teaching but learning has to happen and creativity should be fiercely cultivated to keep the mind agile. The Special Guest for the convene Ms. Aditi Garg CEO - Smart City, Indore Project. Head of the Institution Ms. Sudha Pandey expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries who attended the meeting.

Fulfilling the title of being a trendsetter, Indore Public School has begun the tradition of 'Friendly Lunch with Parents' with an aim to give a personal touch to the precious relationship of Parents and School.
Parents are invited for lunch with the Head of the Institution, at the VIP Dining Hall, in the School premises. Head of the Institution Ms. Sudha Pandey added that Indore Public School always seeks the valuable co-operation of Parents in the overall development of the students. Many parents have appreciated the spirit of this innovative initiative of the School management.
A NEW START - FRIENDLY LUNCH FOR OUR DEAR PARENT WITH THE PRINCIPAL @ INDORE PUBLIC SCHOOL
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF OUR BOARDER CHILDREN
The school has embarked upon a new venture of inviting parents of Boarders on their Child's birthday. This unique trend has been initiated with the motive of connecting with the parents of the Boarders.
Keeping in with this, the birthday of those students falling in the month of July was celebrated with grandeur. Both the parents as well as the children were awestruck with this gesture and became emotional. The celebration beginning with cutting of cake ended with a sumptuous dinner which was relished by one and all. The overwhelmed parents fell short of words to express their feelings and thanked the School Management for this wonderful initiative.
All the four houses locked horns to win the trophy of Inter House Football Tournament between July 26 to July 31, 2019. The tournament featured Sub Junior, and Senior categories of boys. It was a knock out tournament where teams had to put up a good defensive and go on a scoring spree to move to the finals. It was five days of live action on field with fantastic dribbling skills, spectacular saves and flamboyant tackles.
Results of the Tournament:
Raman House emerged as the winner at the Sub Junior level. Subhash House was at second position and Gandhi House was third.
Subhash House dominated from start to finish at Senior level. Gandhi House grabbed the second position and Raman House was third.
