QUESTION:
The 8-inch chemical truck pad drain piping for chemical spills can be reduced to provide adequate space to remove FRP gratingabove the chemical containment area sumps and corresponding sump pumps. Additionally, limit switches are being included onthe main chemical truck pad drain isolation valve to indicate if the valve is open or closed. The intent of the limit switch is tointerlock with the chemical tank fill valves (FV-800-100-01, FV-800-300-01, and FV-800-400-01) and to only allow chemical fillingto begin if the isolation valve is closed.
