Sri Guru Angad Dev College of Education Khadur Sahib has its roots in the main Sri Guru Angad Dev CollegeKhadur Sahib. Sri Guru Angad Dev College Khadur Sahib dedicated to the 500 Parkash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak
Dev Ji was established in 1970. Sri Guru Angad Dev College Society, Khadur Sahib came in to existence asregistered educational society under Societies Registered Act XXI of 1860. It was registered in the office of the“The Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, Punjab” on March 09, 1970 and its registration No. is 129. Under theadministration of this 37 years historic society two colleges and six schools are working successfully. Inspired
by the mega success of these institutions, the historic Sri Guru Angad Dev College Society Khadur Sahib(Regd.) in its resolution No. 42 dated Nov. 21, 2003 resolved to establish Sri Guru Angad Dev College of
Education Khadur Sahib in commemoration of 500 Parkash Utsav celebrations of Sri Guru Angad Dev Ji. It wasvisualized over a sprawling campus of 6 Acres. The Punjab govt. very graciously granted N.O.C vide memo No.
14/114/03-3EI/9919 dated May 28, 2004. This paved the way of this new College of Education for theacademic session 2005-06 with an intake of 100 B.Ed. seats. Northern Regional Committee Jaipur (NCTE) vide
its letter No. F/NRC/NCTE/F-3/Pb-221/2005/6606 dated July 26, 2005 granted recognition to the newlyestablished College of Education from the academic session 2005-06. On Aug 09, 2005 Guru Nanak Dev
University Amritsar showed much grace and generosity in granting affiliation to this College from the session2005-06 vide letter No.5177/colleges Dated 09-08-05. The Govt. of Punjab State vide its notification No.13/1/05-06 Edu.I/19269 dated Aug 11, 2005 accorded it approval for admission to B.Ed course from the
academic session 2005-06. The institution envisions to expand its teaching horizon comparable to globalstandards. To achieve this aim , the instittution has endeavoured to be assessed and accredited by NAAC. TheCollege provides teaching facilities in all the important teaching subjects’ viz. Science, Math, English, Punjabi,Economics, Social Studies, Physical Education and Computer. In due course of time, it will continue to enhanceits intake capacity and add new teacher education programmes. The College has a state of infrastructure withrich and technologically advanced ICT Resource Centre, Language Lab., Library Resource Centre, Science &
Maths Resource Centre, Art & Craft Resrouce Centre, Psychology Resrouce Centre, Health and PhysicalEducation Resrouce Centre. College also provides colossal Auditorium, lush green playground, Hostel,
Transport and Canteen Facility, separate common rooms and wash rooms for Boys & Girls Students. It hasexcellent academic environment with neat and clean surroundings .The College also provides unlimited and

Grievance Redressal Mechanism Details
The college has formed a Students’ Grievances RedressalCell to redress various problems of the students related withday to day functioning of the college. Mr. Karamvir Singh &Mr. Ramnik Singh are the teacher incharge of this Cell. This
responsibility is also shared by the students’representatives. Students report to their representative
about their problem who further carries that problem to theteacher incharge. The teacher incharge will try to solve theproblem to their best. If the problem is of such a nature that
it cannot be handled by the teacher then that problem iscarried to the Principal.
