The aim of the e-learning pilot project was to prove that the e-learning solution provided as part of the ESR system (Electronic Staff Record) works successfully in all BHFT environments.

Over 30 sites, many community staff, shift workers, ward and office based

Approximately 50 volunteers from across the Trust to form the testing group

1. Ensure the technical documentation is read and understood by the right people

2. Look into the proxy server issue before starting

3. Get the commitment from your test group early on

4. Expect some “external” issues; networks, possibly Java

5. Understand the activities on the plan

6. Support strategies in place; ESR, IT, e-learning

7. Allow time to manage the project
