3 Overview

3.1 Electronic Delivery Order In Brief, before Importers or their Agents are allowed to pick up their Import Cargo, they are required to pay the Shipping Line Freight and related Charges. SL will in turn send the Terminal the Commercial Release for the Cargo and advise Importers or their Agents the Delivery Order Pins.

Traditionally, Commercial Release of Import Cargo is usually in the Format of Paper Delivery Order passing from Shipping Line to Importer to the Terminal. The main objective of this Project is to streamline the above processes electronically. 1-Stop will assist those parties without EDI capability by providing Web Screens for them to lodge Delivery Orders online.

Key Points to Remember for those SL Sending EDI:

o 1 Bill of Lading (with 1 or Multiple Containers) per 1 E-IDO Message.

o Message Functions will be restricted to:

 ORIGINAL (Message Function Code 9).

 WITHDRAW (Message Function Code 1).

o Any changes to the E-IDO can be made by:

 Withdrawing the 1st ORIGINAL E-IDO and then send a 2nd ORIGINAL E-IDO.

Just sending a 2nd ORIGINAL to overwrite the 1st ORIGINAL E-IDO Information.

o Date/Time Stamps in different Versions of E-IDO must be in sequence (That is the Date/Time Stamp in the 1st ORIGINAL E-IDO must be earlier than in the WITHDRAW and in turn earlier than Date/Time Stamps in the 2nd ORIGINAL E-IDO).

o Key Identifiers of the E-IDO Message are Shipping Line, Vessel/Voyage and Container Number. Therefore it is important to # $ %&'() '*+#

4 1-Stop E-IDO Web Screens 1-Stop E-IDO Web Screens allow Shipping Lines:

With no EDI Capability to manually create & lodge Electronic Delivery Order Messages to the Terminal

To Track their E-IDO Messages (IFCSUM or 1-Stop Flat-File) sent to the Terminal via

1-Stop or those created from the 1-Stop E-IDO Web Screens.

4.1 Access to 1-Stop E-IDO Web Screens Before the user can begin using the 1-Stop Interactive System, an authorised officer of the Shipping Line or delegate must contact the 1-Stop Helpdesk via email [email protected] to request access for the user. Details must include: Company, Employee Name and Contact Details for email.

The helpdesk will set-up the Interactive User and advise the user directly of the generated password which maybe changed during the first Login. It is the responsibility of the Shipping Line to inform the 1-Stop Helpdesk in writing if the employee ceases to be employed by the Shipping Line, so access can be repealed.
