ECDL: Tutor-Led Part Time Course Description A full ECDL hands on broadcast class with full tutor support, students will be required to follow a syllabus set by the BCS (British computer society) which includes Microsoft office applications and operating system. Sessions are led by tutors with the ECDL- “Expert” qualification. Teaching Method and Course Schedule The course is a 13-week (6 hours per week) Tutor led & classroom based course. Class format is a traditional "Structured Class" with set lessons each week. Each module ends with a short 45 minute exam. ECDL: Tutor-Led Part Time

Course Description

A full ECDL hands on broadcast class with full tutor support, students will be required to follow a syllabus set by the BCS (British computer society) which includes Microsoft office applications and operating system. Sessions are led by tutors with the ECDL-“Expert” qualification.

Teaching Method and Course Schedule

• Option – B (Tuesday and Thursday) – 3pm to 6pm

• Option – C (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) – 6pm to 8pm

Exam sessions are Thursday 6pm to 8pm or Friday 3pm to 6pm

Module 1: Concepts of Information Technology

The primary objective of the course is to broaden a user’s knowledge of Information Technology.

Programme Developed For

Users with no experience in working with computers aiming to broaden their knowledge

Prerequisites

A basic knowledge of using a personal computer in the Windows environment is an essential prerequisite for this course.

• Knowledge of personal computer fundamentals
