Celebration / Topic: Role Play

Savitribai Phule 3 January (1831-10 March 1897) was an Indian social

reformer,educationalist,and poet from Maharashtra.She is regarded as the first

female teacher of India. Along with her husband,Jyotirao Phule,She played an

important role in omproving women’s roghtss in India.

54 Students were Present for the Guest Lecture. It will help students how

to write C.V. The session was important for all students. The Session was

very good. Students gave feedback that such session was helpful for writing

C.V. for job.

Event/Activity: Elocution Competition

Judge Name: Mr. Ganesh Wagh

Language Club is one of the mean to develop students’ interest towards

language. In Language Club different activities are planned, one such activity

which was planned to develop oral ability of the students is Elocution

competition. In this competition seven students from first year participated out

of which two were awarded 1st and 2

nd rank. Students developed confidence

through these activities. All students appreciated this activity.

Event/Activity: Mock Drill Fire Safety

All faculty members have been guided the Extinguishing fire –

other methods with emergency exit points by the unit coordinator. Unit

coordinator has highlighted the safety measures, behaviour and

responsibilities of all in charge of CMC at the time of disaster from responding

team to first aid team including rescue team. : Faculty members discussed

Extinguishing fire – other methods and the point

1 Assembly Point, 2 Behaviour and 3 Responsibilities of all at the time of any

disastrous incident.

Faculty members gave the positive feedback regarding the monitoring and

assessment of the infrastructure and extinguishing fire – other methods.

Event/Activity: Round Glass College Wellbeing

This activity of Round Glass College Wellbeing was based on the students’ physical as well as mental health, which is reflected on overall performance. In his orientation in charge Prof. Ashish S. Gurav motivates all mentors and mentees and distributes them as per mentoring groups for mentor’s individual interaction and discussion with mentees on mental health and physical health.

1) Students discussed the mental health with their

peers.

2) They comprehended the importance of physical as

well as mental health for well round development.

This discussion was very important for all the mentees particularly in exam period

Developed skill of critical thinking in students for books. Developed

various ideas and thought about books. Activity was well organized. Students

appreciated the idea of having book review competition, even through the

schedule of students was badly pack, and they participated actively in the

competition.

Annual Convocation Ceremony

Arranged ceremony in the VC room and Principal Dr. Santosh Rukari with all faculty

members and students of B. Ed. Part I Semester I witnessed the 69th

Annual Convocation

Ceremony at S. N. D. T. Women’s University, Mumbai. All faculty members came to know

the university toppers of various subjects. Our student Monica Kumari of B. Ed. Part II

Semester IV 2017-19 batch ranked first in university ranking, she received gold medal by the

hand of Chancellor of university Shri Bhagat Singh Koshari and Vice chancellor of university

Prof. Shashikala Wanjari. Dr. Nandita Pathak and Senior Poetess Aruna Dhere, Pramilatai

Medhe, Vishnu Magare and Dr. Subhash Waghmare were present for the ceremony

Faculty members gave the positive feedback regarding the student’s efforts for the

gold medal.
