Site analysis through understanding construction safety and regulations achieved by the process of researching issues, the implications of these researching issues, the implications of these issues and then to respond.

2-storey commercial building located in theCarlton precint. Designs include Corten, zinccladding, LitraCon translucent concrete stair feature wall, cabled-suspended staircase, open-plan. open-plan.

project.Redevelopment for an existingresidential property. Existing site conditions include 28m rise in contour from north to south of site boundary, floodplain level of 17m, preservationof vegetation on site. Property is to of vegetation on site. Property is to face the river, with considerations toESD issues, especially with integration with water elements on site.

design.3 cubic blocks distinguishesthe functions into public, private and semi-private spaces. With a and semi-private spaces. project.This project is about a play on landsacpe, creating interesting spaces through contours in a form of a leisure skate park. I learnt from this project: poster layouts, basic materiality and contours.

concept.Playing with the problems encounteredwith two characters. Replicating and recreating the feelings of the idealsrecreating the feelings of the idealsof how one character deals with thesituations pushed on her.

design.Two separate representation oftwo individual characters, their relationship being lovers. A foyer space which takes theA foyer space which takes theform; both in plans and geometrically as a spiral, to represent the twisted nature and fantastical ideals andbeliefs the character experiencesin the play.

developed design.The design plays with the idea ofcreating theatrical spaces that characterizes traits of two maincharacters from the Doll play. The main foyer area explores ideas of intermediate spaces. ideas of intermediate spaces. This is explored through 3 layers:the central spiral staircase, steppedmain spaces and the external envelope which wraps around foyer.

brief.Find a place ‘X’, a dead space with opportunities to activate, between the surburb/city fringe through different mediums of play.

Place X is found through a personal journey - route taken by concert goers to Festival Hall. 5 nodes are chosen based on their distinct ‘deadness’ and activated to create fun alive spaces. By enlivening the waittowards festival hall through the play on the different senses, when concert goers reaches the different senses, when concert goers reaches their destination, the excitement is pumped readilyfor them to release during the concert.
