intuitive understanding of photography to put you in complete control of your photography.

Photography is like CakeYou can buy instant cake mix (basic point and shoot camera) or you can

buy the ingredients to make cake by scratch (advanced point and shoot or SLR camera and lenses). Both are good but the cake made by scratch is

amazing and fully customizable.This is exactly how photography works. The mix gives you the ability to make good cake just as the point and shoot camera makes good photo-

graphs.Just as with cake mix, you must read the instructions (camera manual) in

order to be able to get good results.The cake made by scratch requires a basic knowledge of what goes into

the cake in order to get satisfactory results.If you want to make an amazing cake you need a knowledge of ingredients

and how they interact with each other to create a true masterpiece.This is what I teach you to do with your camera. I teach how photography works, why your camera and lens do the things they do and how to make them do what you want them to. I teach you everything you need to know

Photoshop is like IcingYou can make a great cake & add icing to make it even better.You can take a great picture & Photoshop it to make it better.

You can make a dog poo cake & add icing but it's still dog poo.You can take a bad picture & Photoshop it but it's still a bad picture.

In order for Photoshop to work effectively you must understand howPhotography works so you can customize your image to be successfully

worked in Photoshop.

Workflow Once you have a great picture you need to know three things that must

become part of your workflow: File Management, File Manipulation &Output, and File Storage.

I believe strongly in proper workflow and I make sure my students know what they're doing so they won't ever lose another photograph due to

mismanagement.When you leave my workshops you leave in control of your equipment, and remember:
