1.1 DWEx digital explosion-proof call station is the subscriber equipment of Public Address and General Alarm system completed with DCN / IPN central exchange (manufactured by Armtel, Russia).

In compliance with International standard for Explosive atmospheres, DWEx product can be applied and installed in hazardous areas of premises and outdoor facilities. DWEx can be used in potentially explosive gas environments, except for mines and the relevant surface facilities exposed to firedamp explosive atmospheres.

DWEx is designed for employment in an explosion proof zones of the premises and external installations in accordance with certain explosion proof marking, requirements ТR ТS 012/2011, GOST IEC 60079-14-2013, chapter 7.3 «Regulations for Electrical Installation» (PUE), ATEX 2014/34/EU and other normative documents, regulating usage of electrical equipment in highly explosive zone. DWEx has explosion-proof categories: «explosion-proof equipment», provides protection type of «flameproof enclosure» («d») according GOST IEC 60079-1-2011 (EN 60079-1:2014), provides protection «increased safety «е» according ГОСТ Р МЭК 60079-7-2012 (EN 60079-7:2015), provides protection «intrinsically-safe circuit «i» type «ib» according GOST 31610.11-2014 (EN 60079-11:2012), provides protection type of «dust ignition protection type «tD» according ГОСТ Р МЭК 60079-31-2010 (EN 60079-31:2014) and designed according GOST 31610.0-2014 (EN 60079-0:2012).

1.2 DWEx according explosion-proof marking «1Ex d e ib IIC T6 Gb Х» and «Ex tb IIIC T85 °C IP66 Db» (GOST 31610.0-2014, PUE) and «II 2 G Ex db eb ib IIC T6 Gb» и «II 2 D Ex tb IIIC T85 °C Db IP66» (EN 60079-0:2012) can be used in potentially explosive gas environments, except for mines and the relevant surface facilities exposed to firedamp explosive atmospheres.

DWEx equipment can be used at sites of steel, chemical, oil and gas processing industries, including metal and woodworking areas, other similar sites where standard PA/GA equipment is not applicable.

3 OPERATION LIFETIME AND MANUFACTURER (SUPPLIER) WARRANTIES

3.1 DWEx is manufactured in accordance with the acting technical documentation ARMT.665230.006 and is qualified for operation.

The manufacturer guarantees high performance of the equipment provided the usercomplies with operating conditions given in Table 1, within the following period:

3.1.1 The warranty is effective for 12 months from the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated in the contract.

3.1.2 The warranty period shall be extended by the length of the period during which the product is at Armtel LLC for diagnosis, repair, replacement of the entire product or components thereof.

3.1.3 The warranty is effective for the product (component parts) handed over by Armtel LLC in exchange for the one received for service, unless otherwise provided for by the contract.

3.2 Warranty exclusions:

3.2.1 The warranty for the product and its components will not be valid in the following cases:

– the product serial number is changed, deleted, damaged or illegible;

– the product has the traces of unauthorized repair;

– the product defects are the result of negligent use or breach of transportation, storage and mounting conditions set in the technical documentation;

– the product defects, including damage, for reasons unrelated to Armtel LLC, such as mains voltage drops, natural phenomena or disasters, fires, etc.;

– the product defects are caused by the use of software, accessories, consumable materials or other parts that are not approved by Armtel LLC;

– the product defects are caused by violation of the requirements for connecting the product to other equipment stated in the technical documentation;

– the product defects are caused by the defects of the system or its components, in which this product was used;



– the product defects are caused by the use of operating parameters different from those stated in the technical documentation attached to the product;

– product defects are caused by introducing design changes without the approval of Armtel LLC, as well as by the installation of components not provided for in the technical documentation and user manual.

3.2.2 Cosmetic defects described during the acceptance procedure are not the reason for refusal of warranty service. After repair the equipment shall be returned with the same appearance.

3.2.3 The warranty does not cover faults detected by the Customer, which were claimed after expiry of the warranty period, or any other period established by legislation for the detection of product defects.

3.2.4 Works related to product installation/dismantling, setup, adjustment or routine maintenance are not part of the warranty obligations of Armtel LLC.

3.2.5 The warranty does not cover product installation and setup. The organization performing said works shall bear warranty obligations related to the quality of product installation and setup.

3.2.6 Trips made by Armtel LLC engineers to the Customer’s place where the product is located or is to be transported are not included in the warranty obligations of Armtel LLC and shall be paid for by the Customer independently, unless otherwise stated in the contract.

3.3 The product operating life provided the above-mentioned conditions are observed is at least 20 years.

3.4 Upon detection of manufacturing defects, the product and its passport shall be returned to the manufacturer for replacement.

6 NOTES FOR PRODUCT OPERATION AND STORAGE

6.1 Operation of the product shall be in accordance with the ARMT.665230.006 User manual. When using the product, safety precautions laid out in “Occupational safety rules when operating electrical installations” should be complied with when working with electrical receivers with voltage of up to 1000 V.

Scheduled repairs of the product are not provided for. Unscheduled repair shall be performed by the manufacturer at the request of the user. The location, time, procedure and cost of the work shall be agreed on in advance.

6.2 Product storage conditions – in the manufacturer’s consumer package in unheated and ventilated warehouses or storage facilities with controlled air-conditioning with a temperature range up 5 °С to 40 °С.

Air in the product storage premises must be free of corrosive foreign matter (acid fumes, alkalis).



7 WASTE RECOVERY

The product is not subjected to utilization combined with domestic waste and must be delivered to a special center for utilization of electronic products. The operating organization must take full responsibility for the product utilization
