Dear Children,
Summer break iS a welcome break…….Break from fixed schedule, rules and
regulations. Summer Vacation is all about fun, frolic, getting up late in the
morning, playing for longer hours with friends, going for picnics, exploring new
places and watching your favorite shows on television.
Holidays are great but school work can be fun and inspiring tool so keep
yourself engaged and active, here are few interesting activities for the Summer
break……..
Keep revising these sentences at home:-
How do you do?
I am fine, thank you.
May I come in?
May I go to the washroom?
May I wash my hands?
I am thirsty, may I drink water?
May I have my tiffin?
May I go now?
May I talk to you?
What is the time by your watch?
I come to school by bus/van/car.
I use the back gate/ front gate.

Dear Children
it’S time for fun and play but even then you need to follow few given
instructions so that you that you enjoy doing all types of activities:-
1. Please make sure that you wake up early in the morning.
2. Go for morning walk with your parents every day.
3. Try to converse in English with everyone and recite your rhymes.
4. Learn to dress yourself, wear your shoes and socks, button and
unbutton your shirt, open your water bottle etc.
5. don’t be fuSSy in eating. eat all seasonal fruits and vegetables.
6. Take lot of fluids like milkshake, lemonade, squash, milk, juice
and drink water.
7. Play outdoor games rather than sitting in front of the television
and computer.
8. Protect yourself from harsh sun. While going out wear a cap and
carry a water bottle along with you.
9. Keep your toys at right places after playing.
10. Use bin to throw litter and waste.
11. Do your work neatly and on daily basis.
12. Inculcate good eating habits in your ward.
Mom and Dad please help me to do these activities:-
1. Brushing teeth twice a day.
2. Taking bath daily.
3. Washing hands before and after meal.
4. Encourage your child to play board games like chess, ludo,
carrom, scrabble etc.
5. Help me to revise conversation question and vocabulary words of
April/May.
6. Revise phonic sounds of a to z and learn the formation of
alphabets. Refer to the formation sheets given.
7. Oratory skills:- Do this activity with your child using common
household objects like spoon, jug, television, doll, dress, cycle,
watch, cap etc.
8. Example: This is a spoon.
9. It is a steel/plastic spoon.
10. I eat with this spoon.
11. It is big/small spoon.
Communication skills play a pivotal role on grooming the overall
personality. Converse regularly with your child, preferably in
English.
PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
Inculcate following Life skills in your child to help him/her become
independent.

know who iS calling?’
Speaking politely and sharing with peers.
Using the magic words
Make an attractive cut out of your favourite cartoon character on pastel sheet to be displayed in the class. Example Aladdin , Mickey Mouse, Dora, Ninja, Turtle, Superman, Shiva, Chota Bheem, Motu Patlu Etc.
Activity : Circles
How many balloons Micky Mouse has in his hands? Trace over the
dotted lines to complete the balloons and colour them using different
colours .
Fill up the Bucket!
Fill up the bucket with sand by tracing the Lines.
Trace the letter ‘I’ and colour the picture.
Trace the letter ‘L’ and colour the pictures.
Trace the letter ‘T’ and colour the pictures.
Activity: Make an impression of Hand and Foot print on a clay,
Let it be dry and send it back to the school after vacations.
Activity: Kindly help your ward to make any one Best out of waste
object from the following items:
1. Pen/Pencil stand
2. Wall Hanging
3. Piggy Bank
4. Flower Vase
Decorate the object by using stickers, glitters, mirrors, beads/stones,
ice-cream sticks, bangles, straw, CD’s and any decorative material and
bring it to the school after vacations.
