Lenten Mission Emphasis REBUILD 1128

During the Lenten season, our congregation will be committing to pray for Rebuild of Huntington. Rebuild, a community ministry, was formed to establish an outreach center in a deteriorating neighborhood in downtown Hun-tington. They offer a Christ-centered program that focuses on building relationships, unifying the community, instil-ling values, loving like Jesus, and growing disciples. This is our second year of supporting Rebuild with our prayers, presence, and donations. You will notice our theme is REBUILD 1128. Rebuild is located at 1128 Ninth Avenue. We are asking everyone to pause at 11:28, morning or night, and pray for Rebuild. We will also be using Matthew 11:28 as our focus verse. In this verse Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who are strug-gling hard and carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.“ Let’s join together and pray for Rebuild to be a place of rest and renewal for our hurting community.

The Cridlin Food & Clothing Pantry is in desperate need of infant clothing, all sizes, but especially 0 months through 18 months. We need winter items but will also be happy to ac-cept any spring clothing as well.

Thank you for spreading the word about this important need.

Save the Date!
