THE INSTITUTION

SAPTHAGIRI EDUCATIONAL TRUST is a nonprofitable

trust established by the Philanthropist, MJF. Ln. LEO MUTHU,

Managing Director of Leo Group of Companies. Being an ardent

Educationalist, with a vision to promote Technical Education in semi-

urban areas, he established SRI SAI RAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE,

in the year 1995, at Sai Leo Nagar, Dharkast, near Tambaram, a few

kilometers away from the well known Kishkinta Amusement Park.

The College has developed into a reputed engineering Institution with

ISO 9001: 2008 certifications and 6 Engineering Courses got

accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. The college is

affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Chennai and approved by

All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. With the motto,

“Prosperity through quality education”, the institution disseminates

knowledge and entrepreneurship skills among the students and

strives to achieve academic excellence in the fields of technical,

computer and management education.

THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Electronics and Communication

Engineering started in the year 1995, boasts of well experienced and

technically excellent faculty members. The department imparts

knowledge and skills to inculcate the professional responsibilities,

leadership role along their diverse career paths, develop capability to

utilize engineering skills in industry. The sincere effort of our faculty

to motivate the students has produced remarkable achievements in

Co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities. The dedications of our

Faculty and the keen interest exhibited by our students have

produced a commendable academic record with university ranks

every year. The laboratory infrastructure of the department is

excellent with state of art equipments and software related to the

field of Engineering. In order to inculcate R & D acumen among the

students, the department faculty encourages the students to

implement innovative ideas in their project works.

THE CONFERENCE

To create a world class gathering of intuitive students and

innovative researchers from academia and industry. Acceptance of

global competitiveness and unlimited innovations are emerging as

the most critical elements in wealth generation in the current world

economy. The need for linking science and technology to the growth

of India shall be intensified and improved by conferences of this kind.

The communication technology in India has registered a

remarkable and astonishing growth during the recent years and is

surging ahead to capture a fair share of the global market. The need

of the hour is highly research oriented to motivate communication

and computer professionals who can keep pace with the latest

developments in the fields. A conference of this nature is the premier

and appropriate forum for the presentation, exchanging and sharing

the new advancements, approaches and research results in the

most relevant areas which will enhance and benefit the human

society at large.
