OUTOTECH ILMENITE PROJECT, DUBAI

ScopeOur Challenge was to offer a competitive price for a fabricated steel work package totalling 800 tons , to the worlds 2nd largest Ilmenite smelter plant which will be producing upwards of 500,000 Tons of Titanium Dioxide per annum.Dioxide per annum.

We backed our offer with high levels of quality and a guaranteed delivery ,in a short time frame of just 20 weeks. Whilst maintaining extremely high levels of safety awareness.

To maintain these core factors our approach had to be innovative using advance fabrication methods ,welding technology and expertise in all fields such as fabrication assemble welding and painting.As the package included six day bins 7.4m x 7.4m x 2m in size and 50 Metric tons each in weight. which in them selves were large complex fabrications as wasthem selves were large complex fabrications as was the main frame which measured 40m x 7.5m x 0.8m and, weighed in at 63 Metric tons which has been fabricated in two halves ,with complete built up sections in 25mm and 30mm steel plate. Support structures ( legs ) Stair tower, penthouse steel fabrication, conveyor supports and various supply tanks / silos Service water tanks Using a total of 60tanks / silos. Service water tanks. Using a total of 60 types of materials in 10 deferent material grades, added to this most of the none standard sections were fabricated by our selves as they were unavailable from the steel suppliers.
