1. ALL WALL-MOUNTED DEVICES IN ROOM NOTED SHALL REMAIN.

2. DISCONNECT AND REMOVE ALL EXISTING CEILING-MOUNTED

FIXTURES AND DEVICES IN ROOM NOTED. RETAIN EXISTING

CIRCUITING FOR CONNECTION OF REPLACEMENT FIXTURES AND

DEVICES.

3. GC IS REMOVING MOTORIZED DOOR WITH ADA PUSHBUTTON

CONTROL. DISCONNECT AND REMOVE ALL ASSOCIATED

ELECTRICAL WORK INCLUDING CONDUIT AND WIRE BACK TO

SOURCE. TRACE AND VERIFY SOURCE.

4. EXISTING LIGHTING IN ROOM NOTED SHALL REMAIN. REMOVE

LAMPS AND ACRYLIC LENS FOR REPLACEMENT.

5. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, DISCONNECT AND REMOVE ALL

LIGHTING AND RECEPTACLE CIRCUITING FOR CONNECTION OF

7. EXISTING WIREWAY AND (4) 480V DISCONNECT SWITCHES TO

REMAIN. REMOVE ASSOCIATED FEEDERS GOING OUT FROM

DISCONNECT SWITCHES TO HVAC EQUIPMENT BEING REMOVED

PER KEYED NOTE 8.

8. MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT IS BEING REMOVED BY HVAC

CONTRACTOR. DISCONNECT AND REMOVE ASSOCIATED

CIRCUITING (CONDUIT, WIRE, JUNCTION BOXES, ETC.) BACK TO

SOURCE. TRACE AND VERIFY SOURCE.

9. LAY-IN CEILING IN CORRIDOR SHALL BE REPLACED TO

ACCOMMODATE HVAC DUCTWORK. TEMPORARILY SUPPORT

ALL CEILING-MOUNTED CORRIDOR FIXTURES AND DEVICES

DURING DUCTWORK REPLACEMENT AND REINSTALL IN NEW

LAY-IN CEILING AFTER DUCTWORK REPLACEMENT IS COMPLETE.

A. VERIFY SCOPE OF WORK: CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE JOB

SITE PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A BID TO DETERMINE THE SCOPE OF

THE WORK, AND TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE EXISTING

CONDITIONS THAT WILL AFFECT THEIR WORK AND, THEREFORE,

THEIR BID.

B. TO MAINTAIN DRAWING CLARITY NOT ALL EXISTING ELECTRICAL

EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN SHOWN. FIELD VERIFY EXISTING

CONDITIONS AND NOTIFY ARCHITECT/ ENGINEER OF ANY

CONFLICTS.

C. UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE, REMOVE ALL ELECTRICAL ITEMS

SHOWN ON THESE PLANS AS INDICATED BY CROSS HATCHED

LINES AND KEYED NOTES.

D. REMOVE ALL EXIT AND EMERGENCY LIGHT FIXTURES. PREPARE

CIRCUITRY FOR CONNECTION OF NEW EXIT AND EMERGENCY

LIGHT FIXTURES.

E. UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE, DEMOLITION OF ELECTRICAL

EQUIPMENT/DEVICES INCLUDES REMOVAL OF CIRCUITRY BACK

TO ASSOCIATED SOURCE/PANEL. THIS INCLUDES REMOVAL OF

THE DEVICE, WIRING, CONDUIT, BOXES, CONTROL DEVICES, ETC.

F. PRIOR TO DEMOLITION WORK WALK-THRU PROJECT WITH

OWNER TO IDENTIFY EQUIPMENT THEY WISH TO RETAIN. OFFER

ALL SALVAGE MATERIAL TO THE OWNER. OWNER SHALL HAVE

FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL, OR ACCEPTANCE, OF ALL

SALVAGEABLE EQUIPMENT REMOVED FROM THE BUILDING.

DELIVER, IN GOOD CONDITION, THE EXISTING EQUIPMENT THE

OWNER WISHES TO RETAIN, TO ONSITE LOCATION DESIGNATED

BY OWNER. THE EQUIPMENT NOT CLAIMED BY THE OWNER

SHALL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE CONTRACTOR. THE

CONTRACTOR SHALL DISPOSE OF ALL MATERIAL, NOT RETAINED

BY THE OWNER, IN A LAWFUL AND LEGAL MANNER AWAY FROM

THE SITE.

G. CAREFULLY REMOVE, PROTECT AND STORE ALL EQUIPMENT TO

BE REUSED IN A SAFE PLACE UNTIL READY FOR
