DuraPURE Extended Surface Activated Carbon Filter

As worldwide Indoor Air Quality specifications become more demanding, gas phase adsorption is quickly becoming a major factor in commercial and industrial air filtration systems. The DuraPURE is an excellent high performance solution in applications such as airports, industrial facilities, chemical plants, office buildings, and a wide variety of other air filtration systems.

The Koch Filter Corporation DuraPURE is an extended surface carbon filter which utilizes premium grade granular 60% activated carbon. DuraPURE’s unique V-shaped frame holds up to 26 pounds of activated carbon in a single 24x24x12 filter, which insures maximum VOC and odor removal in any commercial or industrial application.

Two Capacity Levels and Three Standard SizesTo meet the tough requirements of today’s complex air filtration systems, DuraPURE is available in three standard sizes, and two media capacity levels, Standard Capacity and High Capacity.

Specialized Carbon MediaDuraPURE is also available with specialized impregnated carbon media for removal of am-monia, hydrogen sulfide, and other difficult-to-remove compounds. Consult your Koch Filter Corporation representative to find the appropriate DuraPURE model for your system.

Thermoplastic Hot-Melt AdhesiveSpecialized sealant eliminates air bypass and secures the individual carbon cells within the frame.

ICF-11HF Media is a High Flow 100% synthetic spun bond media with excellent moisture resistance particulate release and high strength and durability. A MERV 11 performance rating makes this media ideal for use in pulse systems.

ICF-12 Media is a high efficiency paper based media with excellent capacity, cake release characteristics, superior media strength and moisture resistance. A MERV 12 performance rating makes this media ideal for use in pulse systems.

ICF-13 Media is a blended paper media with nano-fibers to increase surface loading efficiency and cleaning performance. A MERV 13 performance rating makes this media ideal in applications where high efficiency is desired.

ICF-15 Media is a high efficiency melt blown paper based media with excellent strength and particulate release properties. A MERV 15 performance rating makes this media an ideal choice for applications where high filter efficiency is a must.

Multi-Pleat GT Technical Data

The Koch Multi-Pleat™ GT pleated air filter offers upgraded prefilter performance in gas turbine applications.

Multi-PleatGT filters are specifically designed for use as a prefilter in gas turbine applications to help extend the life of more expensive final filters. Durable and efficient, the Multi-Pleat GT is an ideal choice for many gas turbine applications.

Lowpressuredrop/highefficiency The Multi-Pleat GT carries a MERV 8 fractional performance rating in accordance with ASHRAE Test Standard 52.2-2007 and has an initial pressure drop of less than .25" water gage. This combination of performance and low resistance to airflow make it a superior upgrade to conventional pleated filters and media pads.

DurableconstructionThe Multi-Pleat GT is constructed of a double wall, wet-strength beverage-board frame with reinforced corners. The MERV 8 synthetic media is laminated to heavy-duty rust-resistant galvanized wire to form a rigid media pack. The media pack is bonded to all sides of the frame ensuring consistent pleat configuration and total media utilization. This bond helps promote durability during its service life and helps to eliminate the possibility of air bypass. Two rows of pleat stabilizing fingers on the upstream side help maintain pleat spacing in difficult conditions.

The Multi-Pleat™GT-HD is a heavy-duty pleated panel filter designed for use in gas turbine applications where filter durability and extended life are of primary concern.

The Multi-Pleat GT-HD pleated air filter is designed with extended filter life to offer superior performance in the most extreme conditions. Its heavy-duty construction helps to insure product stability, high dust holding capacity, and low pressure drop in many gas turbine applications.

Heavy-duty constructionThe Multi-Pleat GT-HD uses a heavy .056”beverage-board frame, which is twice as thick as normal pleated filters on the market. The heavier frame helps maintain the filter’s integrity throughout its service life, even in high moisture applications. High-loft synthetic media is bonded to a rust resistant heavy-duty expanded metal backing which helps maintain the pleat structure to ensure full media utilization during operation.

Two media options To meet the wide variety of applications found in today’s gas turbine systems, Multi-Pleat GT-HD is available with two media alternatives. The standard media, GT-HD1, provides an excellent combination of efficiency, low resistance to airflow, and high dust holding capacity. The upgrade option, GT-HD3, is an ideal choice for applications where even longer filter life and higher efficiencies are required.
