A PERSONAL

NOTE

FROM NORM DUNGAN

It has long

been

my dream to go to

Mexico

as

a missionary.

For seven years

I

lived in Yuma, Arizona,

thirty

miles

from

the International Border. College took me

away

from

home,

but

Mexico

was

never

completely out

of

my mind. Then, in the

summer of 1966,

my

wife,

Mary, and I made a tour

of

a number

of mission stations in Mexico, and our desire

to

enter the

mission.work there

was further

strengthened. Particularly

helpful

and

encouraging

were the Clinton

Looney family,

missionaries who

live

in

the town of

San Miguel

de

Allende

and work

in

the

surrounding

five-state

area.

Now Mary

is about

to receive her

teaching certificate

in

Elementary Education from Austin Peay State University

in

Clarksville,

Tennessee; and

in June I

will

have completed my

speaking congregation in Queretaro, where Clinton Looney now

preaches

regularly.

During this period

we plan to

work very

closely with the Looneys,

assisting

them in any way we can
