To that end, we utilize the Trimble® RTS Series Robotic Total Station system to take information from the plans, check this against actual site elements and ensure accuracy in all details.

How? Dunbar’s trained professionals can accurately and individually lay out hundreds of points in a single day, even when the design is complex, with the help of Trimble equipment and

technology. Shown here on a recent Dunbar jobsite, the system incorporates data from the project plans/CAD layouts and enables

laser accuracy in the field. The curved walls of the building under construction provided no fixed corner points for

layout reference on this project. The Trimble system is set up on site and programmed with control points for the exact location of each bathroom plumbing assembly. The fabricated underground piping

assemblies (completed in Dunbar’s Production Manufacturing Fabrication Facility) are positioned in place and the ground marked for excavation. When the correct

depth is reached each unit is aligned through the center of the casings to the exact points indicated on the drawings. The units are then secured in place and progress continues on the site.
