• The RoSA is designed to record and credential the student’s academic results up until the HSC.

• Students can apply to receive a transcript anytime after the completion of yr10.

• If a student leaves school before receiving a grade in Year 11 or 12 courses, their RoSA will record the courses they commenced.

• RoSA acknowledges the fact that many students begin senior secondary study but leave school for employment or other training opportunities before receiving their HSC.

Page 16: Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design Yr 9 2016

What will it look like?

Page 17: Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design Yr 9 2016

The ROSA will..

• be a record of achievement for students who leave school prior to receiving their HSC

• report results of moderated, school-based assessment, not external tests ( no School Certificate)

• be available when a student leaves school any time after they complete Year 10 – from the Board of Studies NOT the school

• be cumulative and recognise a student’s achievements until the point they leave school

• show a result for all courses completed in Year 10 and Year 11

Page 18: Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design Yr 9 2016

The facts• The RoSA records completed Stage 5 and Preliminary Stage 6

courses and grades, and participation in any uncompleted Preliminary Stage 6 courses.

• It is of specific use to students leaving school prior to the HSC. • Students who go on to complete the HSC will see all their

Stage 6 (Year 11 and 12) courses and results on their HSC. • All students have access to a record of their courses studied

and their grades through Students Online• One requirement for the RoSA is that a student must attend

until the final day of Year 10 at their school.

Page 19: Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design Yr 9 2016

And….

•Students completing the Yr11 – Preliminary course, will receive a transcript with grades A-E.•Students completing the HSC course will receive a transcript that displays both their Yr 11 & Yr 12 results
