Refurbishment of new OEM Cab & Chassis, existing paint in a sound condition Project: Mainfreight Site: Australia / New Zealand Scope: Refurbishment of new OEM cab & Chassis where the existing

paint is in a sound condition Should there be any uncertainty on the use of Dulux® Autospeed® products please contact your Dulux® Representative for further advice prior to commencing work. 1. Specification Surface Preparation: All surfaces must be cleaned with Dulux® AutoSpeed® Prepwash

(965-89784) and dry before sanding. The paint surface should be sanded with P320-400, cleaned and washed ensuring its free from oil, grease, dirt or any other existing contaminants using Dulux® AutoSpeed® Prepwash (965-89784) making sure all surfaces dry before topcoating. Alternatively, The surface could be abraded with a grey scouring pad & matting paste or clean soapy water followed by Dulux® AutoSpeed® Prepwash (965-89784) before applying Dulux® AutoSpeed® Adhesion promoter.

Specification Surface Preparation:

All surfaces should be free from oil, grease, dirt or any other existing contaminants. All surfaces must be clean and dry before coating. Dry abrasive blast all surfaces in accordance with AS1627.4 Class 2.5. Note: All surfaces are to be coated within four hours upon abrasive blasting completion. All edges, bolts, nuts and difficult to coat areas require extra brushing-in & stripe coating to achieve adequate coating thicknesses. Grind all sharp edges min 2mm radius, remove weld spatter & other substrate defects that will affect coating performance. SURFACE PROFILE (microns) Minimum: 40 Maximum: 60

Project: Mainfreight Site: Australia / New Zealand Scope: Refurbishment of new OEM cab & Chassis where the existing

paint is in an unstable or poor condition. For example, greater than 250 microns in film build, Chipped, cracked, flaking, faded or otherwise not to OEM or industry std.

Should there be any uncertainty on the use of Dulux® Autospeed® products please contact your Dulux® Representative for further advice prior to commencing work. 3. Specification Surface Preparation: Cab: Chassis:

All surfaces must be cleaned with Dulux® AutoSpeed® Prepwash (965-89784) and dry before work is commenced. Remove all unstable coating(s) by power tool or alternative method depending on substrate ie GRP or Ferrous non ferrous metals. Identify and repair all areas to industry std, followed by appropriate 2K primers as per TDS. Remove all unstable coating(s) by media garnet grade C blast to AS1627.4, SA2.5 followed by Dulux Autospeed 488S0042 DP 42 Epoxy Primer within 4 hours.

Scope: This system is for uncoated plastic substrates used in cab production. These plastics include ABS & Polypropylene (PP). The type of plastic must be confirmed prior to painting as the type of plastic can vary across cab manufacture

8. Notes

If the first basecoat is left longer than 12 hours, a coat of adhesion promoter needs to be applied prior to application of the second basecoat colour Applicator to ensure that all colours supplied match the approved standard prior to commencement.
