New jobs fair for Australia & New Zealand comes to Dublin
The dream of a new life in Australia or New Zealand could soon become a reality, as a new recruitment fair for downunder comes to Dublin on the 2nd February.
Australia needs skilled workers ; an estimated 500,000 in Western Australia alone, as the resources
boom continues to create job opportunities across the state. In New Zealand, the Christchurch earthquake requires skilled migrants to help rebuild the city, and as both countries seek skilled workers, there are real opportunities for Irish workers.
Already established as the UK’s number one event for jobs and emigration advice, Down Under Live
arrives in Dublin with a one day recruitment fair.
Visitors to the event in Dublin can speak to recruiters looking for candidates to fill roles in Australia and New Zealand, get a free visa assessment for Australia, courtesy of Immigration2Oz, and listen to an explanation of the Australian visa system. A wide range of roles are being recruited for, including nursing professionals, doctors, allied healthcare, physiotherapists, teachers, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, engineers, fitters, mechanics, chefs, roofers, painter decorators, cooks, massage therapists and a host of other roles. Zinfra, a major Australian infrastructure company, will be at the Dublin event, looking for Electrical Lineworkers and other key workers with power and utility distribution expertise. Recruiters will be looking for a host of workers to help with the Christchurch rebuild, including carpenters, chartered accountants, civil site managers, linesmen, electricians, scaffolders, printers, fire engineers, quantity surveyors, water engineers and a host of trades positions.
Down Under Live will be at the Hilton in Charlemont Place on the 2nd February 2013. Doors open at 10am and tickets cost €10 each. Tickets can be purchased either online (www.downunderlive.co.uk) or on the door.
