Message from the Principal
District Athletics Carnival
We had over thirty students partici-
pate at the District Carnival yester-
day and after all the cold weather,
we had a beautiful day for it. We
were lucky to have eight students
make it through to represent our
school at the Western Carnival to be
held on 2nd September. These stu-
dents were; Sofye, Charlotte Nolan,
Coby Fletcher, Liam Layton,
Thomas Proberts, Campbell Watts
and Zakk Allen-Whelan. We wish
these students all the best in their
events.
Jeans for Genes Day
Thankyou to everyone who wore
their jeans and denim jackets last
week and to the SRC who collected
the donations. Our school raised
$145.30 for this very worthy cause.
Staff Development Day
Our staff spent time on Saturday for
one of our development days later
in the year. We had guest speakers
from Glenroi Heights Public School
in Orange to present a program
about working together, to the staff,
called Stronger Smarter. Then after
lunch, the PBL Committee had Pro-
fessional learning about making
consistent judgements on inappro-
priate behaviour at school.
Principal’s Conference
I will be away from the school this
Thursday and Friday at a Principal’s
Conference, if anyone needs to see
me regarding any matters, please
make an appointment tomorrow.
