What is Dual Credit?
Dual Credit vs Concurrent Credit
Dual credit is earning college credit at the same time you are earning high school credit (example: English 4 is English 1301 and 1302)
Concurrent Credit is earning college credit only, while still considered a high school student (example: Taking Biology 1301, after already taking high school biology class for credit)

ND Scheduling
If you enroll in and pay for a DC Class, you must provide the receipt of
registration and payment to the counselor, so that the course can be
added to the student’s 17-18 schedule.
If course is required for HS Graduation, you must pass it through DC or
you will do Credit Recovery (including EOC testing).
Drops “D” and Withdrawn “W” classes from the College/University will
result in you doing a Credit Recovery Course (Elective and Core) – you
must notify the school counselor immediately upon withdrawing or
dropping a dual credit course, so your schedule can be adjusted to
minimize loss of credit.
