Channel Search

Whenpoweringonforthefirsttime,youwillbepromptedtoscanandmemorizeallavailablechannelsfromyourRFinputsignal.Tostartthisprocess,pressOPTIONbuttontodisplaytheTVOSDmenu.

NOTE: Digital channels are indicated with a “–” followed by a number.NOTE: When Channel Lock function is “On”, the Channel Search cannot be used. If Channel Lock is “On”, set it to “Off” before proceeding.

Auto Scan

DependingupontheRFinputsignal,youwillneedtoscanforeitheroffair(antenna)orcablechannels.

Off Air Scan

Network Settings

DHCP

ThismodulewillautomaticallyattempttoestablishanetworkconnectionusingDHCPwhenanactivenetworkcableisconnected.Youcanalsomanuallyattempttoconnectbyselecting“DHCP”fromthe“NetworkSettings”onthe“Tuner”menupage.

1.Onthe“NetworkSettings”,press buttontoselect“DHCP”andpressSETbutton.

2.Select“Yes”andpressSETbuttontoconnect.(Toconfirmasuccessfulconnection,select“SystemInformation”onthe“System”menupagetocheckforthepresenceofanIPaddress.)

Static IP

Ifdesired,thismodulecanbemanuallyconfiguredtouseastaticIPaddressbyfollowingtheinstructionsbelow.(Contactyournetworkadministratortoacquirethecorrectvaluesforeachparameterbeforemakingthechanges.)

1.Onthe“NetworkSettings”,press buttontoselect“StaticIP”andpressSETbutton.

2.PressthenumericbuttonsontheremotecontroltoinputtheIPAddress,Netmask,GatewayandDNSparameters.Whenfinished,select“Done”andpressSETbuttontomanuallyimplementthenetworksettings.

IP Program Settings

Channel Edit

ThisfeatureallowsyoutoselectwhichchannelsinmemoryaretunedwhenusingCH+orCH-buttons.

1.Onthe“Tuner”menupage,press buttontoselect“ChannelEdit”andpressSETbuttontodisplaythelistofmemorizedchannels.PressSETbuttonagaintoenterthechannellist.

2.Press buttontoselecteachchannelinthelist.PressingSETbuttononacheckedchannelwillremoveitfromthelist(skip),whilepressingSETbuttononanuncheckedchannelwilladdittomemory.

NOTE: When IP channels are listed, the setup IP adress is displayed beside the channels.

Controlling the module via LAN Control Thismodulecanbecontrolledbyconnectingapersonalcomputerviathismodule’sEthernetport.

NOTE: This LAN control can not control the LCD monitor.

FirstturnoffthepoweroftheLCDmonitorandthecomputer,thenmakeconnectionwithLANcable.NOTE: Use a category 5 or higher LAN cable.

2. Network Setting

SettheIPaddressofthemoduleonthe“NetworkSettings”OSDmenu.NOTE: Refer to the “OSD Controls” - “Network Settings” section of this manual for the IP address setting.

3. Operation

1)AccessisgainedtotheHTTPserverfunctionbystartingtheWebbrowseronthecomputerviathenetworkconnectedtothemodule,thenenteringthefollowingURL.
