We always believe the Power of Communication. Come and play with the young children but not only teach them English. The thing more important than study records is the great hope for the future. Said Nietzsche: He who has a why to live for can almost bear any how. We hope you can open a brand new world to these children live in small town.

Dare to Dream

We planed to open 10 opportunities for all AIESECers around the world. So you can find all types of college students here and make friends with them. We also prepared 7 days free for you to travel in Xian and experience Chinese New Year. You can participate in the new year events with your homestay families or your teammates. Also, great guidance will be provided by our natives.

Dare to Dream (AIESEC-XISU Summer Camp in Weinan)

Xian

Xi'an, during the Han and Tang dynasties, was the world's first city having a population of one million. It's level of civilization was believed to be able to match that of Rome.

Xian, Thousands of years have passed, but the history has remained indelible on Xi'an's bricks and tiles. It's also the eastern terminus of the

Silk Road and home to the famous Terra- cotta Warriors Army.

Xi'an, an eternal city, records the great changes of Chinese nation just like a living history book.

[Basic Work] 1. Encourage students to speak English, and teach students some common sense of English. 2. Introduce traditional culture of countries where volunteers come from to students. 3. Organize some activities on the class according to the agenda Communicate with students and be a good friend with them.(share life experience; show your patience and love to them, etc) [Activities] Volunteers will take part in various of activities in some classes, such as Global Food Amazing Race etc. [Explore Xian] Volunteers will visit traditional attractions in Xian in Winter, and experience Chinese Traditional Activities.

Project Related

[Food]: Only provided when volunteers in the winter camp.

[Transportation info]: Not provided

The volunteers should afford train tickets between Xian and TN, around 50 dollars in total.

The volunteers should afford transportation fee except days in the winter camp. But at the first time, we will provide a bus pass for you.(available when you take bus or subway)

[Accommodation info]

Accommodations are provided for free during the winter camp. The accommodation will be students dormitory. When volunteers are not in the camp,

they will live in youth hotel or homestay family with local volunteers.

Tips 1. This project is based on education and culture Communicate, we hope you can speak Fluently English and have basically knowledge of your own country. 2. In Xian you can buy anything you want. There is a lot of Walmart, Carrefour and Metro market. So you dont have to take everything. 3.
