Biesiot Activities Center

Blue Hawk FootballThe Dickinson State University foot-ball team has had a long and storied tradition in the National Athletic In-tercollegiate Association. In his nearly 40 years as a head coach Hank Biesiot has amassed 22 conference cham-pionships and has visited the post season 14 times, all of which coming as a DSU Blue Hawk. The program has over 80 all conference athletes, over 20 Academic All-Americans and nearly 30 First or Second Team All-Americans. As a new member of the Frontier Conference, DSU has a op-portunity to win on a higher plateau. Soar with us on this new horizon!

At DSU we offer certification in more than 70 academic fields, and our numbers practically speak for them-selves with an excellent 97 percent graduate job-placement rate. DSU provides flexible learning options in two- and four- year degree programs, as well as pre-professional and ex-tended learning opportunities. Our graduates go on to exciting careers in the military, nationally noted grad schools, and top positions with com-panies that include Clear Channel Radio, Fisher Industries, Kmart, Land O’ Lakes, and Marathon Oil.

The Biesiot Activities Center’s new Fisher Field features the latest in artificial turf to provide student-athletes with the best and safest field design, allowing the BAC to host more local and regional sporting events throughout the year. A new, state-of-the-art, Olympic- sized, eight-lane track is the hallmark of the new Roger Huffman Track, which also boasts the latest in track and field meet manage-ment, results, and electronic scoring. The Biesiot Activities Center also features an on-site locker room facility located on the bottom level of the facility that includes separate locker rooms for each of the three home teams. Additionally, the facil-ity has a training room and coaches office to allow for the best experience possible for our student-athletes.
