Grades and Benchmarks
Benchmarks VS Tests
Benchmarks can be attempted unlimited times
Must be achieved at a high level to pass off
100 = on time, 70 = late, 0 = not completed
Tests are attempted once
Graded on a traditional 100 point scale
Can be redone for a maximum of 70
Must be redone within 3 days
Weekly Sectionals
Will occur on assigned day each week
Must be made-up if missed
Required for all 7-8th grade bands
Work on instrument specific music and skills
