SPECIFICATION

ENVIRONMENTAL TESTINGSTANDARDS

The DSE710 is an AutomaticStart Control Module that offersan advanced range of enginemonitoring and protectionfeatures. The module has beendesigned to monitor generatorfrequency, generator volts, generator current, engine oilpressure, engine coolanttemperature, engine runninghours and battery volts.

The module also displays theengine speed. When the moduledetects a fault condition itautomatically shuts down theengine and indicates the exactfault on the modules LCD displayor relevant LED indicator.

The module can be configuredusing the front panel or via theDSE810 interface and a PC. Themodule can also be controlledfrom a PC that is located up to100 meters away.

The DSE720 is an AutomaticMains Failure Control Moduleand incorporates all the featuresof the DSE710 plus the ability toautomatically monitor the mainssupply and switch over to thegenerator when the mainspower fails.

FEATURES• PC configurable• Digital and analogue inputs• Digital outputs• Automatic mains (utility) supplymonitoring (DSE720 only)

• Automatic shutdown or warningwhen fault conditions are detected

• Manual start• Engine pre-heat• Engine monitoring and protectionfeatures

• Protected Solid State (PSS)outputs

• Front panel mounting• Front panel programming• Tamper proof engine hourscounter

• Remote start• LED indicators• Configurable timers• Configurable outputs• Configurable inputs• Back-lit character/icon LCDdisplay

BENEFITS• Transfer between mains (utility)and generator power (DSE720only)

• On-site module configuration andremote configuration (Max 100Meters) using PC software

• User-friendly set-up and buttonlayout

• Multiple engine parameters aremonitored simultaneously

• License free PC software

OPERATIONThe module is operated usingthe front STOP/RESET, MANUAL,AUTO, TEST and START pushbuttons.

An additional push button next tothe LCD display is used to scrollthrough the modules’ meteringdisplays.

CONFIGURATIONThe modules can be configured usingthe front panel or remotely using theDSE810 interface and a PC.

As well as configuration the DSE810interface has the ability to providereal time diagnostic facilities.
