Explosion proof for Zone 1 or Class I Div.1 3 Description The passive sample cooler works according to principle of the passive cooler: If the ball valve is opened, the sample flows through a stainless steel coil inside a stainless steel water tank. The thermal energy is transferred to the water. 1 Application

Samples of fluids and gases in industrial plants are often very hot. That can be a danger for personal and plant. Inflammable substances may not get in contact with air above their auto ignition temperature.

INTERTEC’s passive sample cooler makes sure, that the sample temperature is max. 60°C.

3 Description

The passive sample cooler works according to principle of the passive cooler:

If the ball valve is opened, the sample flows through a stainless steel coil inside a stainless steel water tank. The thermal energy is transferred to the water.

Due to the fact, that the thermal capacity of water is approx. 2 times as high as the thermal capacity of i.e. hotoil, the temperature of the water increases slowly.
