The PureTech Turbo 3-cylinder petrol engine is ‘International Engine of the Year 2018’. This is the fourth successive year that the engine has won the award in the 1L to 1.4L category, as

judged by a jury of international journalists.

The 1.2L PureTech 110 S&S EAT6 Auto is part of the range and is compliant with the latest Euro 6.2 emissions standards.

Designed to minimise fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, without compromising engine power, PureTech technology optimises the size and weight and reduces friction between engine components.

BlueHDi diesel technology leads the way in meeting and exceeding the latest Euro 6 emissions standard. The Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) module is the most effective method available for the treatment of harmful Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) emissions. Working in conjunction with the particulate filter (DPF), diesel engine emissions are dramatically reduced, cutting not only CO2,

but the other harmful by-products of diesel combustion.

Designed and developed in partnership with market leader AISIN AW, the latest EAT6 automatic gearbox delivers a compelling blend of smooth power delivery, ultra-fast gear changes and exceptional efficiency. Fully automatic torque-converter based technology ensures excellent low-speed driveability with a creep functionality that is particularly convenient in low-speed traffic.

Active City Brake helps avoid low speed accidents by automatically applying the brakes when an impact is anticipated. Operating in urban conditions at speeds of less than 20 mph, a short range sensor fitted to the top of the windscreen detects other vehicles that are driving in the same direction or stationary and monitors the rate at which the distance between the two cars reduces. If the distance to the car in front is too small and closing at too great a rate, the vehicle will perform an

emergency stop to avoid a collision.

DS Connect Box provides peace of mind that in the event of an emergency, anywhere in Europe, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, help is always at hand. In the event of a collision severe enough to deploy the vehicle airbags or the seat belt pretensioners, the vehicle automatically makes an emergency call on behalf of the driver. Precise location information is also sent to the call centre so the appropriate emergency service

can be dispatched quickly.

COMPANY CAR BENEFIT-IN-KIND TAXATION CHARGESThe Company Car Benefit-In-Kind Taxation charge is based upon the type of fuel used, and the level of CO2 emissions, measured in grams per kilometre (g/km). The table opposite shows the percentage of the car’s list price to be taxed (P11D value†).

For example, a DS 3 PureTech 110 S&S manual Elegance has a CO2 emissions figure of 100g/km (petrol) and the P11D figure of £16,340. The BIK value would therefore be 17% x £16,340 = £2,777.80 (equivalent to £46.30 pcm for a 20% rate tax payer).

ELECT 4Elect 4 is an alternative way to enjoy a new DS without the cost of ownership. Instead of owning the car, you rent it for a fixed period and then return it to your local dealer where you can exchange it for a brand new one. You set your preferred contract terms and anticipated annual mileage. With leasing which can be arranged for a period up to 4 years, Elect 4 offers you an alternative method of funding your new DS. One initial bulk advance rental will be required. This is between 14%-16% of the ‘On the Road Recommended Retail Price’ plus any advance rental contribution from Citroën UK. Excess mileage charges may apply if the agreed annual mileage is exceeded. Citroën contribution on selected models only. Payment of the optional final rental extends the rental term (this does not transfer title of the vehicle) & requires an annual rental equivalent to one month’s rental. All based on a 48 month contract with an annual mileage set at 6,000 miles on DS 3, DS 3 Cabrio and 8,000 miles on all other models. All rentals inclusive of VAT. Finance subject to status. Over 18s only. 3 YEARS’ DS ROADSIDE ASSISTANCEIn response to a free telephone call in the UK, DS Assistance brings rapid expert roadside assistance to you in an emergency. It comes free of charge for three years, from date of vehicle registration, and operates 24 hours a day in all parts of the UK and Europe. Services include nationwide recovery for both car and passengers, a home call service, replacement vehicle, hotel accommodation and vehicle storage if required. You can also purchase additional DS Assistance via your local DS dealer at any time. Please note, DS Assistance applies to incidents covered by the new vehicle warranty, and non-vehicle faults, such as running out fuel or mis-fuelling, instances where keys have been locked inside the vehicle or lost/stolen, road traffic accidents and punctures/wheel changes.
