Sunday Nights Wednesday Events

June 11– Stephen Bunn Stephen works for College Golf Fellowship (CGF). Along with CGF, he is also a chaplain for the PGA Tour and has developed relation-ships with Pro golfers such as Zach Johnson and Davis Love III.

June 18– Bobby Parks Bobby runs a ministry called Christian Medical Ministries of Ala-bama (CMMA). He will be sharing his story of witnessing a terrorist attack on his church while serving as a missionary in South Africa.

July 9- Micah McElveenMicah is the founder and CEO of Vapor Ministries. Vapor operates centers for alleviating poverty and multiplying disciples in third-world countries. Come hear his tesitmony and how he is using his ministry to show God’s love to those in need.

July 16- Barrett JonesBarrett is a former All-American and three time National Champion center for The University of Alabama football team from 2008-2012. July 23- Dr. David ConradDr. Conrad is a beloved Bible teacher at Briarwood Christian High School. He is incredibly gifted and passionate in teaching high school students about Jesus!

July 30– Jason WilliamsJason is the Founder and Executive Director of Aspire Movement. He has a heart for serving the underprivileged in the inner-city of Birmingham. He will be sharing his testimony of how the Lord brought him out of a life headed for prision to a life devoted to Christ.

June 7- 7:00-9:00pm Crawfish Boil We’ll be kicking off the summer at the Barn with our famous Crawfish Boil, and as always, it will be hoedown style! Pull out your cowboy boots, straw hats, jean shorts, plaid, and anything else redneck! Free crawfish (along with corn, sausage, and potatoes) and hotdogs, plus live music with Brandon Snipes! Does it get any better?

June 14- 7:00-8:30pm UltraBlast Laser CombatJoin as we invade the newest laser tag arena in town, UltraBlast. We will be renting the place out just for our group! For those of you who need a pre-battle meal we will meet at the Chick fil a on Highway 280 (near Best Buy) at 6:00pm. Cost: $10.00. Address for Laser Tag:157 Resource Center Pkwy #109, Birmingham, AL 35242.

June 21- 7:00-9:00pm Night of the Interns Round 2What is the “Night of the Interns?” And why, “Round 2?” Last year our interns planned an event and it was awesome! What is it going to be this year? Not really sure, but we know the interns will pull through and crush it again! It could be blindfolded bumper cars, ice sculpting, or even Quidditch, but whatever it is, it will be awesome! Meet at the Barn.

June 28- 6:00-8:00pm Annual George Washington’s Patriotic Beach Volleyball and Cookout for AmericaCome join us as we celebrate the 241st anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence at Veterans Park (behind Spain Park H.S.). Along with volleyball, we will be playing ultimate frisbee and having a free cookout. (All tax proceeds from the food will go to supporting our local government.)

July 5- No Meeting

July 12- 6:30-10:00pm Barons Baseball GameWhat would summer be without America’s favorite pastime? Answer- Not very fun! Come support YOUR Bimingham Barons as they trample the lowly Mobile Baybears. Sign up online at briarwood.org/youth for your ticket by July 5, $5.00. Meet at the Barn at 6:30pm and we will take busses down to the stadium; we will return at 10:00pm.

July 19- 7:00-9:00pm Skates 280 Hippies vs. HipstersIt’s cool and shady at Skates 280! Both hippies and hipsters alike have found a way to be different by all being the same! Nevertheless, whether its bellbottoms or skinny jeans, they have both made their mark on society in style. The question is which one will you choose? Bring $10 and meet at Skates 280 (7043 Meadowlark Dr., Birmingham, AL 35242).

July 26- 7:00-9:00pm Christmas in JulyWhy wait until December to celebrate Christmas when you can celebrate it in the summer! We will have ginger bread house making, the movie Elf, Christmas music, Christmas sweaters, dirty Santa and other games, and to top it off, the most epic snowball fight with 1000 real snowballs from Bahama Bucks!
