''EARLY LIFE''

Dr. Sah is a single son, born in a poor family who were totally dependent on the limited land farming and a very small grocery at Balha-Saghara,Dhanusa, Nepal. He completed his schooling in Khajuri high school, Khajuri, Dhanusa and Isc.Ag (Animal Science) in 1981 A.D (2038 B.S.) from Tripureshwor-Khumaltar, Kathmandu and IAAS, Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal. In his early years he worked as a Veterinary Junior technician and first allocated place of his government job was Salyan in the year 1982.

''INSPIRATIONAL YEAR''

1990 A.D. (2047 B.S) ---- This year was the most memorable and life changing year for Dr. Sah. During those days he was working as a veterinary assistant in the District Livestock service office, Bhairahawa , Rupendehi, Nepal. During the same year, he got opportunity to work as a trainer in a 35 days Village animal health workers training program, organized by the Agricultural Development Bank. In this training, number of trainees was 23, in which 17 were from Marchwar area, Bhairahawa, Rupendehi and

Mothertongue of those trainees was Abdhi. In the same program, on 21th day, Dr. Sah as a trainer got two topics, Haemorrhagic Septicaemia (HS), also known as Bhaygute Rog in Nepali Language and Vaccination. After the completion of this chapter, Dr. Sah asked those trainees "Did everybody understood"? A sad answer came out with no answer, everybody were silent. After certain time, everybody said, they understood nothing. The reason was---- They were not able to understand Nepali language. But the training was conducted in Nepali language which made them difficulty understanding the lectures during training. Then, Dr. Sah asked those trainees, have you heard about "Ghurka"? Then many said 'yes' and smilingly and excitedly said, they have seen various number of that case in their villages. Likewise Dr. Sah explained many things in various languages which could be easily understandable for everyone.

At the end of the training, discussion program was carried out among organizer, trainers and trainees except Dr. Sah, as he was not invited at the program. To know the fruitfulness of the training, organizers requested the trainees to say something. Then trainees speak out, training was good and very knowledgeable and they would like to provide a gift for our best teacher. This moment was exciting for every trainer about who will receive the gift. After a moment, trainee said, I'm sorry but our best teacher isn't present here right now.

He was not other then--------------------------- Dr. Jibachha Sah.

Then Dr. Sah was called at the program and provided a gift and requested to say something among the mass. Then Dr. Sah said only one sentence, "I will provide a series of veterinary books for Nepalese farmers and practitioners in easy and understandable language". The same promise came out in the

form of book entitled "Samanya Pasu Chikitsa Guide" in Nepali Language in 1990 A.D. (2047 B.S.).

As the demand progressed, number of published books grew up. Till now 27 books for farmers, technicians, practitioners, B.V.Sc &A.H. students and researchers (20 in Nepali and 7 in English language) have been published through Jibachha Publishing.
