To avoid unauthorized access, usesfour password types: an operator access code(which allows operator to adjust only somevalues), a system access code (that gives a fullaccess to the set parameters), a commissioningand a firmware password.

In order to be included into a monitoring system,

may optionally have a serial

communication interface RS 232 C, allowingconnection either to a Notebook PC, to atelephone modem, to a GSM modem or to a radiomodem or a RS 485 serial communicationinterface allowing the connection to anautomation network or to another equipmentlocated at a long distance.

can directly process the signals from

temperature sensors (PTC, thermal contact,PT100) or miscellaneous (vibrations, bearingtemperature) included in the pump unit and, depending on the measured values and thethreshold limits, it can warn the operator and stopthe corresponding motor pump.

If the electrical switchboard's installing conditionsare very severe and do not allow the use of lampsor buttons, the pumps can be switched on and offby the operator, in manual operation mode via theautomatic unit, from the equipment's keyboard.
