Das Zeichen „+“ meint sputato. Es gilt nurfür diejenige Note, unter der diesesZeichen steht.

The sign “+” means sputato. It is only tobe applied to those notes under which thesign is printed.

Durchgestrichene Notenköpfe zeigenMultiphonics an; da bei diesen kompli-zierten Klängen nur schwer alle Bestand-teile angegeben werden können, werdennur der obere und der untere Ton angege-ben; zusätzlich wird über dem Klangdurch eine Grifftabelle angezeigt, wie die-ser zu greifen ist. Die Multiphonics imersten Stück Agitato sind ohne Griffta-belle notiert, da diese automatisch durchlautes Sputato bei dem normal gegriffenenGrundton entstehen. Hierbei könnenauch Klänge entstehen, bei denen höhereObertöne als die angegebene Duodezimeüber dem Grundton erklingen.

Die Drei Bagatellen entstanden 1997 als Auftragskomposition für den Internationalen Blockflötenwettbewerb in Calw.

The Three Bagatelles are a composition commissioned for the International Recorder Competition in Calw, 1997.

Ces Trois Bagatelles sont le fruit d’une commande passée en 1997 pour le concours international de flûte à bec de Calw.

Kreuzförmige Notenköpfe meinen„Rauschklang“, dieser wird dadurch er-zeugt, dass die Flöte etwas weiter wegvom Mund gehalten wird als beim norma-len Spiel erforderlich.

Vor allem in der zweiten Bagatelle kommenhäufig Vierteltöne vor. Für deren Notie-rung werden folgende Zeichen verwendet:

meint Erhöhung um einen Dreiviertelton

meint Erniedrigung um einen Viertelton

meint Erniedrigung um einen Dreivier-telton

Note heads in the form of crosses mean “anoisy sound”. This is produced by holdingthe recorder a little further away from themouth than is normally necessary.

Particularly in the second bagatelle, thereare frequent quarter-notes. Their notationis as follows:
