Do you ever wake from a dreambut can't quite remember where youwere? Then an image may gentlyfloat in or something sparks yourmemory. Suddenly you recall a sceneas real as the world in front of you.

A Dream Exercise

Dreams are an easy and naturalway to pursue spiritual unfoldment.Here is an exercise you can try beforeyou go to sleep. It can help you seeyour problems from a higherviewpoint to aid you in your life.

Make a request. Before you go tosleep, write down a question about aproblem that bothers you. Ask theDream Master or your own spiritualteacher for guidance on this ques-tion. Lie down, and close your eyes.

Sing RU. Softly sing HU(pronounced like the word hue) forabout five minutes. HU is an ancientname for God. It has the uniqueability to lift you into a higher stateof awareness. Singing HU connectsyou with Divine Spirit, or ECK,which can be seen as an inner lightor heard as sound.

Write down your experiences.When you wake up in the morning,write down any dreams, thoughts, orfeelings, even if you don't think theyare significant. As you go throughyour day, write down any newthoughts or experiences that relate toyour problem. Do this for three tofive days. Then look over your notes.You may discover that images youfirst thought were unrelated nowmake sense and give you clues to theoverall pattern of your life.
