HGOR teamed with Duda Paine Architects in a select, invitation only, international competition for the “Dream of Green” civic landmark in Dalian, China. The concept explores the unique point of the intersection of land, air and sea perched above the South China Sea. Pedestrians wind through paths of discovery within the iconic form, which derives inspiration from both the journey and the destination. The design balances calming and energizing elements in a memorable way.
