GETTING PLANNING APPROVAL

BUILDING APPROVAL/CERTIFICATION

It’s important to us to help keep the cost of your TINY BLOX as low as possible. In order to give you an accurate depiction of costs associated with your TINY BLOX, we will always require you complete the compliance report by our town planner.

This report will outline if planning approval is triggered and the reasons why it has been triggered. Common reasons include: bushfire overlay, environmental protection overlay, easements, insufficient setbacks.

Our experienced team members will be with you every step of the way and help you navigate the way to building approval.

A building approval is always required for TINY BLOX in order to make sure the building is built to Australian Standards and engineered professionally.

We will help you organize and liaise with all the required consultants so you don’t have to worry. You will be notified of the progress of the building approval at every step.

WHAT ITEMS DO TINY BLOX COME STANDARD WITH?

When it comes to quality and insulation, nothing beats the combination of Colorbond’s 36 Year Warranty together with the amazing insulated benefits of EPS core. Includes a low sheen Colorbond ceiling lining internally in a flat profile.

Your walls are delivered in prefabricated panels ready for you to attach the supplied internal and external cladding.

All of the components you need to complete the structure of your home are included in your Tiny Blox kit home.

Included in your Tiny Blox kit are the aluminium doors and windows to your colour choice. These will be as per the Tiny Blox plan you select.

Choose from external claddings: 150mm woodgrain, 300mm, 600mm or 1200mm smooth Weathertex sheets. Timber architraves, skirting & ceiling corners are also supplied.

TINY BLOX comes with EPS-ready LED ceiling lights

Earthwool R-2.0 wall insulation is supplied for simple, safe and highly effective temperature control.

Internal cladding is also included in your kit and is 10mm plasterboard ready for painting. Note that plastering is required. Timber skirting, architraves & ceiling surrounds are supplied to neatly finihs your internal lining.
